Okay for the ge90 I just made it what the engine sounds like and attenuated into the cockpit with proper filters and affecting how sound falls off. All my bet team real pilots (and there are many) all said it sounds really good and what that remember it like. The howl is very prominent on idle for a couple minutes after startup and then it gets quieter, which I also simulated.

That's completely intentional and how it is IRL, the switches are not that loud compared to the rest of the noise. Airplanes are loud machines.

Hey, I did make this exact sound at around the slat area and a bit forward and behind it. It's the slats moving there, please check again because I definitely did simulate this! Edit: the video is also quite a long ways before the last couple updates in which I tweaked distances and such of this sound

Ok I'll offer some refs 4:15 on power up - Here - Here - You can even hear it over the guy talking If that's the whine you meant, it's one of the avionics fans, and they have their own logic which pmdg seemed to have simulated, that's why you hear it come on and off sometimes.

To be fair the sounds of the engine are relatively quiet from the cockpit and engines were what people would want to hear. There are a couple streamers though that got early access and streamed it, of course from the cockpit as well, so that might help you decide

The thumbnail is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek specifically making fun of those influencers. The video is extremely over the top dramatic, it's meant to be a parody. Because out of all things, for aircraft sounds, I wanted to have some humor in the video!
