  1. Does anyone have any experience using the MilViz Boeing 737-200 in P3D v4.2? It does not seem to be officially compatible yet... Thanks
  2. Addons: Orbx Southern Alaska Orbx PAGS Gustavus REX SkyForce3D REX Texture Direct Carenado Pilatus PC-12 Chaseplane Thanks for watching!
  3. Ok. Hopefully you will get it fixed sometime.
  4. My Beaver lables in the VC itself are pretty clear when zoomed into them. Are yours blurry? Caleb
  5. Thanks everyone. I am still thinking about it. I am still open to suggestions here. I see what you mean about TD having water and runway textures etc. that SF does not have. I should have thought more about it and not bought Soft Clouds knowing that SF was going to come out soon. Thanks.
  6. I have a thread here that has an error on install of the JustFlight Otter. As soon as I get that fixed I will try the JustFlight Otter Demo. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/530024-just-flight-otter-demo-install-error/ Hi Ident, I really don't pay much attention to the tooltips because most of the time I will zoom in or program a Chaseplane camera preset near the switches, and I can see the switch labels in the cockpit fine without the tool tips. But I can say that with the MilViz Otter at least some of the switches have tool tips, and the other switches don't seem to, but maybe I am not hovering for long enough. I will look next time I fly it and let you know. Caleb
  7. Replying to get the thread to the top of the list. Thanks.
  8. One more thing I wanted to add is that the MilViz Otter does not have the passenger area of the interior modeled in the Virtual Cockpit. Only the cockpit is modeled. But from what I understand, the Just Flight Otter does have the passenger area modeled. It is not a big issue to me, but to others it might be important to have the passenger area, so I thought I would mention it here. Otherwise the MilViz Otter is very nice and I like it a lot.
  9. I currently have REX Texture Direct w/ Soft Clouds, and am considering a purchase of the newly released REX Sky Force 3D. I wanted to ask, if anyone has an opinion as to how much better the clouds are in Sky Force than in Texture Direct, and if it's worth buying Sky Force if I already have Texture Direct. Also, does anyone know if REX Texture Direct works with Sky Force at all, such as Sky Force using some of the Texture Direct sky textures? Or does Sky Force completely override the Texture Direct sky textures? Thanks very much in advance.
  10. I got the MilViz Otter and am very satisied with it. Highly reccomended. Thanks.
  11. Interesting. Thanks for sharing that.
  12. Thanks, that is what I wanted to know.
  13. Does anyone know exactly where Bear Island, Florida by Emerald Scenery: https://emeraldscenerydesign.com/bear-island is located? Thanks.
  14. I am getting this error when trying to install the Just Flight DHC-3 Otter Demo into Prepar3D v4.1. Any ideas as to what this is and how to fix this? Thanks
  15. So I would like to see of anyone who owns both would be willing to share their opinion as to which is better, The MilViz Otter or the Just Flight Otter. FPS is another thing I want to consider. If anyone knows what kind of FPS hit there is in P3D v4.1 for both of these it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  16. Might consider getting it, but Spad is cheaper than FSUIPC, so I might just go with spad to get the controls working. Thanks. The more I think about it I might just need to buy spad. Spending $30 or so is not the end of the world. Thanks everyone.
  17. Thanks gboz. According to here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/512119-new-linda-305-32-64-bit-compatible-15-dec-17/ I need to have the registered version of FSUIPC (which I do not own) in order to use LINDA. Am I misreading this or is there a different version of LINDA that does not require the registered version of FSUIPC? Thanks. Hi Russell, thanks for the reply I am on Windows 10. Maybe that makes a difference. I have the same plugin installer file version you mention there. This is my exe.xml entry for it: <Launch.Addon> <Name>Logitech Plugin for FSX</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech\FSX Plugin\LogiFlightSimX.exe</Path> <CommandLine>-run</CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> The switch panel does not work for me right now. Any ideas? Thanks.
  18. So I did this, and it did not seem to work. Does anyone have any other ideas for how to use the switch panel without Spad.neXt?
  19. Hi all, I am having the same problem in P3D v4.1. My Saitek switch panel does not work. I got the SPAD.neXt trial and the switch panel has worked fine, but that trial is almost up. I was wondering if anyone might know of a way to get the saitek switch panel to work in P3D v4.1 without SPAD.neXt. Thanks in advance.
  20. This link seems to be bad. Do you have an updated one? I am having a similar problem. Thanks very much.
  21. Spad.next is a program for hardware. If I am not mistaken, it will easily allow you to assign an l:var to a button on hardware. I might also consider doing an XML gauge for this. Thanks.
