  1. I know you went to the trouble to test.. but the perf impact is to the CPU side, could you do the test at 1080p and see what the difference is?
  2. Not just the inferior flight dynamics (maybe GA are flying well, but the airliners might as well still be on rails) but also the weather and GTA5 graphics have me flying XP12 90% of the time since a year or more ago. Even the taxiway lines / lights being drawn all over the place triggers me now - such a 'small' detail but yet completely wrong even after 4 years. Same for the default airports, a joke. I might purchase FS24 if the thing is a marked improvement over 2020, but I sure as hell won't be buying any 'deluxe' or 'premium' edition!
  3. It might just become a 'simulator' some day... /ducks
  4. I wonder if this is the mis-information, or perhaps MS need to update their docs... (emphasis mine) Catalog Price: This is the price (in US dollars) of the add-on on the Marketplace. This can be free ($0.00) or can be between $4.99 and $149.99. Source: https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/Developer_Mode/Project_Editor/Marketplace_Data.htm
  5. I always have a backup of impotrant things but in the case of MSFS a back up is useless, so I have a backup sim ..... 😅
  6. It comes into its own when your fps is below 30, so in my situation on the ground at EGLL, I can run PSXT live traffic + AIG with ultra all round and its much, much smoother. Once airborne and FPS goes into the 60's , its not really needed. But use it as you want! Just my 2 bits.
  7. Great review. I have purchased AS for FSX, P3D, XPL.. but knowing the limitations that MS (via metoblue licence blah blah..) But I actually hesitate on this given the other products that have tried within these same limitiations (yep, I even bought XE for MSFS) I knew it could be potentially better given Damians 'track record' of going above and beyond on the same product for the other platforms, but I can wait. Your review picks out exactly what I was hoping it would do.. layers and wind / turb depiction so I am happy to have read your views on it. Not sure I need to wait now, lol.
  8. I prefer the ARPC colors too but everyone sees colors, even spell colours, differently - as proven right here is this very thread!
  9. If @Scott - A2A ever has ideas to retire early .. licencing Accu-sim in part or full to other high calibre GA devs could possibly be a big 'game changer' for the GA landscape in MSFS , and your new floatplane by the beach! Just kidding of course(?) It's really amazing and inspiring how far and how great your company has become in these years and looking forward to what you might bring to our hobby in the future.
