MUVT is treated as OEKF
Hi, In MSFS-2020, I connect P2A to the sim whilst sitting on the runway of MUVT. From the P2A Map view (with Airports-enabled) I find my current airport MUVT and right click on the airport name in the map & set it as Departure. I expect to get Departure=MUVT, but I end up with Departure=OEKF. MUVT is in Cuba & OEKF is in Saudi Arabia. Incorrect coordinates issue perhaps? Side note: I also noticed in the map view there are two separate MUVT airport name-tags (not one). Thanks

comms issue
Monitoring button monitors (i.e. LISTENs) the second COM device, but it should have no impact on the ability to pick a radio frequency from a list of radio frequencies. I tested this (after creating the demo video above) as I expected it has no bearing. Ability to pick a frequency works fine with or without MON button active. If you are seeing conflicting evidence, please could you provide details? Such as your location (your airport code if in an airport), your aircraft type, livery type, whether other mods are installed to see if we can recreate the strange situation you observe, and the detail whether that aircraft is built-in MSFS, commercial, freeware etc. Thanks!

comms issue
Hmm.. I watched it carefully and do not see what the problem is - to me, it looks like it is behaving as expected. In your linked video, at timestamp 2m28s you click on the Freq button to open the Frequencies pop up - it opens fine. Note that you mouse-over it, but you never click on it, from what I can see. Had you clicked on the frequency row in the pop-up window where it lists the name and frequency, because your setting at the top of that pop-up window is set to ACTIVE, it is supposed to send it to the active COM device's secondary channel (i.e.: COM1, channel2). Then you click on COM2 active channel, the software once again does what it is supposed to do in swaps COM2 channel1 and channel2. If your goal is to get that entry "Stansted Airport Clearance Delivery 121.95" into tho COM1 channel1 what you need to do is: step #1: Whilst having the top-of-popup-window in ACTIVE setting (which you already did have), click on the row, step #2: In the COM1 section, click on the channel1 (active channel) it will swap COM1 active and COM2 passive then you will get what you want. Again, from what I see and understand, at no point in your video you demonstrated a bug / incorrect behaviour. It is working fine. === edit below ==================================================================== EDIT: I have created a brief, silent demo video for you. See my demo video here: https://youtu.be/qiMQMaQhlNI In this demo video, I too start in London-Stansted airport, with the same destination chosen if I read your screen correctly. (Note that I did not bother with the rest of the waypoints and SID/STAR/APR etc. as I believe it does not matter at all.) In my video, filing is complete at 00m42s mark, start watching from there... At this point in time, my goal is exactly the same with yours (i.e.: Get the "Stansted Airport Clearance & Delivery" into COM1-active channel by clicking, rather than typing the frequency). Only TWO STEPS required: Step #1: (Whilst having "Active (COM Device)" selected in the radio button) In the Frequencies pop-up window/list click on the "EGSS ClrDel 121.95" row. Expected output of this action: P2A will take that frequency and copy it into COM 1 second-channel. In the video, the actual output of this action: P2A does just that, correctly. Step #2: In order to swap COM 1 first and second-channels, simply click on COM 1 first (top) channel and wait a moment. Expected output of this action: In COM 1 column, P2A will take that 121.95 from bottom and put it to top, and vice verso (it'll take the top 124.85 and will put it to the bottom). In the video, the actual output of this action: P2A does just that, correctly -- so we are done as of 01m01s in the video. Please test the exact procedure and advise the outcome?

'Require P2A or SIM Focus for Hot Keys' not working
Hi, I think I detected a small issue, as described below. 1- Description of the problem I have the option "Settings > Common > Require P2A or SIM Focus for Hot Keys" in checked state, but it does not seem to be doing its job. 2- Information about what you were trying to do when you had the problem I have my Joystick PTT button set to my joystick(T.Flight Hotas One)'s button#12 and the (keyboard) Hot Key set to PageUp key. On a two-monitor Windows 10 setup, both the sim (MSFS-2020) and P2A (v.3.0.0.0_EarlyAccess 0.0.27N) are running, and P2A is connected to the sim, but at the moment of "issue" I was just doing some web browsing and nothing with P2A or MSFS-2020. Sim is on the right screen in paused state, and P2A is on the left screen. Also on the left screen I have a web browser and doing some web browsing, as part of it I press Page Up key which gives me audio (set in P2A > Settings > Snds > PTT Pressed Tone). Surprised by the sound, I also tried the joystick PTT hotkey and I got the same audio indicator, indicating PTT kicked in. I've then restarted P2A, tried again - no issue. After P2A restart, connected it to the sim - the same issue. Looks like, as long as P2A is connected to the sim, it is listening on PTT keyboard & joystick hotkeys automatically i.e.: it does ignore the setting ("Settings > Common > Require P2A or SIM Focus for Hot Keys"). 3- Screenshot of Pilot2ATC after the problem occurred. If a CTD you can recreate, then a screenshot right before it occurred. https://i.imgur.com/YlZFIxz.png 4-If an error message was displayed, a screenshot of the error message No error message. 5- Flight Plan, if one in use No FP. 6- P2A Log file. PTT hotkeys are not working in Speech Trainer Utility
Thank you for adding a new feature request, for improving it in the future. With hindsight, it probably should have taken a smarter person less time to recognize what was happening, but personally I did quite a bit "audio troubleshooting" including multiple restarts, driver uninstall, clean (re-)installation etc. until I realized I need to use my mouse in that screen... As you work towards a stable release, probably with many open bugs, features to complete etc. I would not think (an overhaul of that screen & PTT functionality) is worth your time, as I acknowledge this is a very low priority change/improvement. Having said that, what if we could find a quick and dirty solution to the problem I just had, and without taking much of your time? I am thinking perhaps you could add a single line text in that screen, something like "Warning: PTT hotkeys do not work in this screen". Obviously I learned my lesson by now, but this is a selfless request for the next guy 🙂

Excellent, thank you, Dave.

PTT hotkeys are not working in Speech Trainer Utility
Hi, it appears, the existing joystick/keyboard shortcuts (which do work, normally) are ignored in the Speech Trainer Utility. Assuming they are simply not bound, would it be possible to add this functionality, please? (so that users can use PTT in Speech Trainer as they always do) Thanks

Getting exception when ATC is trying to speak a phrase to me
@Dave-Pilot2ATC Improvement suggestion: Like many other software do, upon detecting go-back-without-saving-changes action, the application to display a warning to user "You are exiting without saving. Any changes you may have made will be lost. Click xxx again, to exit or click SAVE"

P2A Crash (audio playing & player changing COM)
1- Description of the problem P2A crashed while en route, following a flight plan. 2- Information about what you were trying to do when you had the problem. I was travelling the route listed below in SimBrief format & further below shared as P2A FP file. The issue happened at the leg TIMBA->EGKK, right after passing TIMBA when the LondonController was asking me to switch to Gatwick Tower. At the very moment I was making changes to the COM devices, LondonController started talking, so my mouse click (to apply the intended change) occurred whilst audio was playing. At first look, the issue appears to be something to do with audio-play & change-COM-device-configuration instructions clashing somehow or not being handled correctly. SimBrief Route TRACA7N TRACA DCT KONAN KONAN2G SimBrief ATC Flight Plan (FPL-N226SB-IS -S22T/L-SDGRY/S -LFQT1510 -N0185F090 TRACA7N TRACA DCT KONAN KONAN2G -EGKK0100 EGJB -PBN/B2 DOF/241218 REG/N226SB EET/EGTT0023 PER/A RMK/TCAS) 3- Screenshot of Pilot2ATC after the problem occurred. If a CTD you can recreate, then a screenshot right before it occurred. This is a screenshot of P2A after I relaunched it and clicked on CONNECT button. https://imgur.com/upKxIgi 4-If an error message was displayed, a screenshot of the error message No error message displayed on screen. 27M SIDS and STARS Still Bugged?
I don't seem to be able to edit my previous post, hence the double post. I did another test after a while and noticed that if I have the option "ATC Assigns STARs" then it adds another waypoint (MVC) which does not appear in SimBrief therefore, as advised, will have to keep it checked, at least for this route.

27M SIDS and STARS Still Bugged?
I've the same problem: created a Flight Plan in SimBrief, then tried to import it into Pilot2ATC, and it did not work. For the very same plan, importing it into MSFS-2020 works and importing it to LittleNavmap works. I am using Pilot2ATC v.3.0.0.0_EarlyAccess 0.0.27N (latest), with AIRAC version: Navigraph 2412 (latest). P2A in two popup error boxes says "SID not found in AIRAC data" then "STAR not found in AIRAC data". Looking at the waypoints, I see that it has imported it OK. Unchecking the button "Import Procedures" gets rid of the errors. (In my testing, the state of the Settings > Flt Pln >"ATC Assigns SIDs" & "ATC Assigns STARs" had no bearing on the outcome.) On a side note, in this particular example (short 43min flight at 5,000ft), to successfully Validate, I've had to enable the checkbox Flt Pln > Ignore Airway Altitude Restrictions. SimBrief > Route DCT DVR L10 RINTI B3 TRACA DCT RUBUT DCT SimBrief > ATC Flight Plan (FPL-N11SR-IS -S22T/L-SDGRY/S -EGKK0530 -N0175F050 DCT DVR L10 RINTI B3 TRACA DCT RUBUT DCT -LFQT0044 LFPG -PBN/B2 DOF/241218 REG/N11SR EET/LFFF0022 PER/A RMK/TCAS)

License Validation Problem
At the time, probably, it was not you, but the backend, as it has happened again earlier today (see below). Today's issue has since been sorted, I was unable to access P2A only less than an hour. In the thread linked below, Dave acknowledges this is a problem and will look into implementing some improvements (backend with better uptime). Fingers crossed.
