What do you mean by "Cpt side does not give freq".  Please explain what you are doing, what you are expecting to happen, and what does happen.

Also, what aircraft are you flying?  Have you tried this in a different aircraft?  Are you controlling the Coms from P2A or from the aircraft?

Thanks,

Dave

Hmm.. I watched it carefully and do not see what the problem is - to me, it looks like it is behaving as expected.

In your linked video, at timestamp 2m28s you click on the Freq button to open the Frequencies pop up - it opens fine.
Note that you mouse-over it, but you never click on it, from what I can see.
Had you clicked on the frequency row in the pop-up window where it lists the name and frequency, because your setting at the top of that pop-up window is set to ACTIVE, it is supposed to send it to the active COM device's secondary channel (i.e.: COM1, channel2).

Then you click on COM2 active channel, the software once again does what it is supposed to do in swaps COM2 channel1 and channel2.

If your goal is to get that entry "Stansted Airport Clearance Delivery 121.95" into tho COM1 channel1 what you need to do is:
step #1: Whilst having the top-of-popup-window in ACTIVE setting (which you already did have), click on the row,
step #2: In the COM1 section, click on the channel1 (active channel) it will swap COM1 active and COM2 passive then you will get what you want.

Again, from what I see and understand, at no point in your video you demonstrated a bug / incorrect behaviour.
It is working fine.

=== edit below ====================================================================

EDIT: I have created a brief, silent demo video for you. See my demo video here: https://youtu.be/qiMQMaQhlNI

In this demo video, I too start in London-Stansted airport, with the same destination chosen if I read your screen correctly.
(Note that I did not bother with the rest of the waypoints and SID/STAR/APR etc. as I believe it does not matter at all.)
In my video, filing is complete at 00m42s mark, start watching from there...
At this point in time, my goal is exactly the same with yours (i.e.: Get the "Stansted Airport Clearance & Delivery" into COM1-active channel by clicking, rather than typing the frequency).

Only TWO STEPS required:

Step #1: (Whilst having "Active (COM Device)" selected in the radio button) In the Frequencies pop-up window/list click on the "EGSS ClrDel 121.95" row.
Expected output of this action: P2A will take that frequency and copy it into COM 1 second-channel.
In the video, the actual output of this action: P2A does just that, correctly.

Step #2: In order to swap COM 1 first and second-channels, simply click on COM 1 first (top) channel and wait a moment.
Expected output of this action: In COM 1 column, P2A will take that 121.95 from bottom and put it to top, and vice verso (it'll take the top 124.85 and will put it to the bottom).
In the video, the actual output of this action: P2A does just that, correctly -- so we are done as of 01m01s in the video.

Please test the exact procedure and advise the outcome?

Monitoring button monitors (i.e. LISTENs) the second COM device, but it should have no impact on the ability to pick a radio frequency from a list of radio frequencies.
I tested this (after creating the demo video above) as I expected it has no bearing. Ability to pick a frequency works fine with or without MON button active.

If you are seeing conflicting evidence, please could you provide details?
Such as your location (your airport code if in an airport), your aircraft type, livery type, whether other mods are installed to see if we can recreate the strange situation you observe, and the detail whether that aircraft is built-in MSFS, commercial, freeware etc.
Thanks!

Hi there,

All was working but after the M update things started to fail.

I finished long hauls without any issue. The N update started with an error in P2Alink maybe caused by XUIPC.

P2ALink consumed all my XP memory and causes stuttering for seconds in a row, I kept only have the N update, so you can see everything was working, except what I mentioned about the P2ALink memory usage,

Now in recent updates the comms do not have the expected behaviour, Dave mentioned it could be a problem with the airliners.

Hopefully it will be fixed in next updates, I loved the old version and this 3 version is really a step ahead.

 regards and happy christmas

This video is the N update where the radios are ok

Wim,

Watching your videos, it seems that P2A is not connecting completely with X-Plane.  When you connect, the title "COM" above the frequencies should be "COM 1" and "COM 2".  Something is preventing that.

Using the stock 737, the radios seem to work correctly.  Can you try using the unmodified XP12 737 and see if it works.  No need for a flight plan, just connect and see if the COM 1 and COM 2 titles are visible.  If not, then you can try removing the XPLink plugin that you say is creating a problem and see if that works.

I have disabled P2ALink plugin. And...   I'm at EDDK with Toliss A339

When I connect both COM boxes says only COM, not COM 1 and COM2 as Dave says.
Mon is active, all green. And when I press Mon it turns Grey and COM 1 and 2 changes to COM1 and COM2 as they should.

After that it all works as it should.

More info....

Atis freq is wrong. In Navigraph charts EDDK Atis is a 132.130 but P2A have 132.125 and when I try to manually type in 132.130 I only get to 132.1  pressing 3 nothing happens.

Double checked EDDK with WED (XP scenery editor if you not know what is is) and ATIS is at 132.130 as it should. And works in A339 radio if I set it manually.

So maybe something goes wrong on connect and it does not find the ATIS!?

Tried to change ATIS in Data Mnt-ATC Ctlrs  page but every time I change 132.125 to 132.130 it flipped back to 132.125

Glad you were able to get the Coms working.

The current Navigraph data for P2A has only 25kHz spacing, so 132.13 is not a valid frequency and is changed to 132.125.  You need to get frequencies from the Frequency window, not the charts.

Once Navigraph provides the new data, it will hopefully include the correct frequencies and P2A will be able to support the 8.33kHz spaced frequencies after some testing.
