I have 2 monitors, would it be possible to only record footage on one monitor while having panels on the second monitor.I have tried running fsx in windowed mode and undocking panels and moving them to the second monitor, but that crashed fraps and fsx

Does anybody else have trouble recording with FRAPS? I've had a hard time getting things recorded because sometimes I press the hotkey and it just doesn't record. I've tried several different hotkeys to no avail. Any ideas?Thanks,boeing247

Hi all, So I would like to start creating more content and recording, ie. landings / take off. I saw there is a recording thing built in which is fine, but when you play back, it only plays back in the camera setting which you recorded in, If that makes sense. I would like to know if there is a programme or a way for me to record and then when I play back, to be able to change camera angles, i.e. record taking off from cockpit, but replay and view this from inside the cabin? I saw a programme called "Flight Control Replay" which does this, but does not show animation, ie. in replay mode it doesn't show the gear retracting, or the flaps retracting etc.. any help would be great! as I see videos on youtube where they replay recordings in all different camera settings/views Thanks as always! I am struggling to find a way that I may record my own flight in something like to LM fictional TTA military trainer and then replay that recording while I fly alongside the recording another spawn of the same aircraft type. I am looking to use this for some formation practice in VR but many internet searches and queries have left me unsure. I am aware of some of the flight recording add-ons out there in this and other platforms but their visual performance while flying alongside seems to have some questions yet to be answered.

If you look most any good FSX movie on YouTube, you'll notice that there are a lot of shots where the camera pans past the aircraft. Without purchasing anything like Walk and Follow or EZ DOK, what is the best way to achieve an active camera angle like this? I saw using the "Play as Traffic" function of FS Recorder to record the aircraft. Is this feasible?Thanks,boeing247
