December 25, 201510 yr Moderator In continuation of my tour up to Norway Part 1, the next leg will take us up to Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic. After a short break in EPZG, we're off again and begin our climb out towards the coast This region of Poland is full of forests and lakes (It also happens to be where I live ;-)) Below us is the A2 motorway running from the border with Germany to Warsaw (and expensive as well). Down there is my house (It actually really is there in the right place ;-)). There are also a lot of nice lakes in the region, which are quite crowded in the summer months. There is a lot of empty space and forests, just how I like it :-) Finally after around 40 mins we reach the coast and the Baltic. The beaches here are fantastic and some of the nicest I've seen in Europe. After around 20 minutes of flying over water we reach the Danish island of Bornholm. The island is located between Poland and Sweden, and we'll be landing at the main airport of Rønne We now begin our approach into EKRN (Rønne) Looks like we're not alone here. This small airport has daily flights to Copenhagen (Our next stop). A visit to the town of Rønne for a well earned rest Part 3 Here X-Plane 10, Carenado C337, Skymaxx Pro, Ortho4XP photoimagery for Denmark and Poland.
