February 16, 200323 yr on the 737ng page of ure website on the top it says 737-600/700(base package)800/900/BBJ. does this mean that there will be 2 packages. like kinda what captainsim did with their 727, they had a standard and professional packages? also im assuming this is all payware, how much will this cost, not exact but like an estimate? ir u are doing the 2 seperate package idea what will be an estimated price for both? also im really exited about ure product.Adam
February 17, 200323 yr Hey Adam, where you been man, have not seen you around the 767 forum much any more? Yes PMDG will have 2 types, standard and pro from what I heard. As to price one could only guess. I would pay 30.00 US for it {well really more but don't tell PMDG that} for such a great add on. But look at the other developer's prices such as PSS's Dash 8, Flight 1's Meridian for the tipical going rates, i'm sure they will be in the same market rate.Best Wishes,Randy J. February 17, 200323 yr Hey you need no problems to visit! The 727 is a very nice aircraft for sure. Incredible panel and the VC cockpit is the best i've seen although the bird seems plagued by little problems. Yes this 737 NG will be the bird! I can't hardly wait for it. You can bet that the forum will be very busy when that time comes and you bet you will see me in here a lot! Take care Adam, hope to see you around .Best Wishes,Randy J. February 17, 200323 yr Yes I too am looking forward to the 737NG, also don't forget about the A310 from sim softworkshop which also looks very, very promising!!
February 17, 200323 yr Hey Gooper! Another one I have not seen in awhile hehe. Yes I got my eye on that bird too, in fact it's right under the 737NG on my to get list. I'm not to big on Airbus but the A310 is not your typical Bus and it has YOKES! Anyway, I really love the 737 series and was not very impressed by the Dream Fleet version so PMDG's 737 should tickle my fancy.Best Wishes,Randy J. February 19, 200323 yr Commercial Member Adam-Complete and final information on product breakdown and pricing will be made available at a later date....but in the mean time here is the direction we are headed:The initial release package will include both the -600 and -700 aircraft models, their associated flight/engine models, cockpit variations, systems variations and documentation. This will be considered to be the "Base Package."The base package will be priced in a market driven fashion. (Read: We haven't set pricing, but you can count on the price being competitive with the market place.)From this base package, a number of product variations are going to be offered. A -800/-900 and BBJ variation with the associated flight models, cockpit/system differences, etc will be released after the Base Package....The variant package will be available at a small incremental cost for those who wish to purchase it.We have additional products that will come to market for the Boeing 737NG product line, but we are not in a position where we are prepared to discuss them just yet....Robert S. February 21, 200323 yr Robert, sorry if this is an annoying question but I see from what you have written that the -600/700 will be released first with the -800/900 later. Do you have a rough estimate as to how much later? The -800 is the one I am wanting (due to Delta not flying the 600/700's). In fact other than SAS, I can't think of any major airlines that fly the -600? Thanks Eric
February 21, 200323 yr Commercial Member Nameless:(Polite reminder to read the Forum Guidelines at the top of the forum. We require name use.... Thanks!)The -800/900 variants will be released nearly instantaneously. I have to check with the team to see where we are with them- but I **believe** they will release on the same day.We have divided the package up a bit in order to make it more modular- and so that folks can keep their individual costs to a minimum. Normally when you buy a package you get only a single airplane type- and ours will give you 5 different types- but we don't want the price to reflect that unless the user really wishes to reward us for our efforts by purchasing all the variants! ;-)Robert S.
