I am glad that light issue will be looked into as well. On the PIC767 with the merge file from Lee, the landing lights do not wash out the rwy or taxiways at all but show just enough brightness. However on the PSS A320, the landing lights wash out everything so badly that I usually opt not to use them because you can't even see the rwy once you land.

Howdy Vin and Bob,Thanks a ton for the reply. It is really heartening to know you are going to attempt to make this FS lights issue look better than the way it does right now. There are so many developers who make great products from a/c to sceneries, textures, etc.... but I always felt that this was one area which was really neglected. I am really delighted you will be making an effort to rectify this problem.Ofcourse, ambient lighting in the real world is so different from that on your computer, it is a fact we have to accept, which makes it even harder to get the effect of landing lights, taxi lights, rwy turnoff, etc accurately. Bob, I personally am looking forward to the -800 myself too :) More so because of the EFIS/Map display it will come with. My Childhood buddy is a Captain on the 700/800 in Jet Airways. If there is any type of info you do require or tips or vignettes on the differences betwen the 2 types do not hesitate to ask. I will be in New York and Boston from the 18th of may to the 4th of June. By then Beta testing would be well underway. If I can be of any help once I return it would be my pleasure.Cheers and best of luck,Dinshaw.

Hi Marc, thanks for the EL AL. Hopefully the "brain" of your NG Bobby (Avionics, FMS etc.) is also well implemented and functional as the "eye candy" stuff looks like :-)

Well now that you mention it! Very cool. Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith

Hey Dinshaw-As I will be the developer for the EFIS/Map display, I will be happy to see your comments once we start its development. Be assured- I will be keeping everyone informed of my progress with it!(Just don't expect it immediately after our release of the 600/700 - I am burning out already! ;-) ;-) )
