May 11, 200323 yr Randy, thanks for your compliments... and no, I don't think our painters sleep. If you look on our downloads page, you'll see that our liveries now cover every continent. That's pretty cool!Stay tuned for more,Cheers!
May 11, 200323 yr >>now cover every continentMarc, you have been at it too long my friend. Take a break for a few hours. I know of no airline liveries from the continent of Antartica. Eric
May 11, 200323 yr Amazing !I didn't think it could be done, but this aircraft looks better and better after each preview!!Wallets at the ready guys...... :-)Jonny
May 11, 200323 yr Okay, so a livery from every civilized continent, and let's not try to argue that... ;-)
May 11, 200323 yr Marc,I could kiss you!!!!!! :) :) :)Thanks a ton for looking into the request for Jet Airways. It looks spot on. VT-JGB is the latest in the fleet. Jet just received -JBC 5 days ago, a 737-900, their first. Once again, thanks soooooooooooooo much, now looking forward to the -800 in Jet Airways livery, maybe VT-JNZ :)Thanks a ton once again,Regards,Dinshaw.
May 11, 200323 yr Commercial Member Dinshaw-Wow!You know it's nice to see such effusive thanks in the forum, and we greatly appreciate it!I don't normally spend time in the forum responding to the many positive posts, as I'm so furiously busy getting the airplane ready for testing- but such comments are nice to read...Thanks! May 11, 200323 yr Dear Robert,Its you and PMDG who we have to appreciate for bringing out this long awaited a/c for FS, not us !! :) BTW, can you guys do anything about the landing/taxi light splash in FS. It really is too bright and generally you cannot see the taxi lines, rwy markings, etc. It can be made marginally better by shifting the beam up/down using the keys. More importantly, the light beam "throw" is not far enough in FS, hence in the flare or approaching the flare you cannot see the lit portion of the rwy, only when the nose wheel comes down :( You know, I would pay double if you could solve this issue :) something like FLY II or X-Plane. I hope MS solve this in the next edition.I made a mistake in my previous post, the -900 is JGC, and not -JBC as posted :)I have a question, will the -800 and -900 go into programming only after the -700 is released or has it already started?Take care and wishing you and PMDG a grand success with the 737 NG.Dinshaw.
May 11, 200323 yr Commercial Member Dinshaw-I'll take a look at the lighting issue during the beta testing. I'd imagine that it is probably an "FS Thing." But if we can find a solution- we'll do it...As for the 800/900, no- we haven't started those yet. We are focusing our attention on the 600/700 now because of the confusion that can come up when we start working with multiple system differences. Once the 600/700 is out to you folks- we'll be right into the 800/900....(Personally- I can't wait to fly the 800....) Robert S. May 11, 200323 yr Commercial Member Dinshaw... just read your request about taxi and landing lights on the runway... It can be done! We'll definitely be doing tweakes during the beta cycle to get the best compromise between brightness and realism, and readability of the runway markings! :)VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
May 12, 200323 yr WOW! This has been an issue brought up by me and a couple of buddies amounst our selfs that the *light* is good, only that it does not extend far enough. You PMGD guys are just life savers![h5]Best Wishes,Randy J.
