July 2, 200322 yr Commercial Member Tom->dont you have somewhere else to post your anoying comments??I was in the process of doing a lookup to help you. After reading your attack on another forum member I am going back to my previous task helping another customer who is capable of treating those around him in a mature manner.I'm sorry we cannot help you personally at the moment it is convenient for you.Perhaps a polite request will be answered more effectively. RandazzoPrecision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.comAnd you failed to see his starting comments towards me??.........Don't worry about personel help for me. Just gimme my refund as I emailed for. Yeah sure......it's an attack on a fellow forum member when you reply in same manner as he was. But thanks for nothing PMDG......Expecting my email with refund details by tomorrow or I will be contacting my bank my self.P.S how convinient of you to drop into the conversation with that obsavation 9 hours after post was started, and regarding maybe a polite request would help?...well I tryed that to begin with, and what did that get me??.....did my problem get fixed or even commented to other than...try reinstall, and then nothing??.....did I get a key to unlock the 737NG like I asked for polite to begin with to fix my problem??...no......By bump number 15 of this threat during 2.5 hours, yes 2.5 hours where funny enough no PMDG member seemed even to try and comment further to the problem, I started to get anoyed yes. And lets not forget all the other issues I had to go throug today just to get your product, which is basicly every single problem you have seen posted in this forum today.....and you find it strange that I don't feel like listening to some guy coming inhere cause I bump the threat up telling me to relax after all that?? Not sure you would have acted any different, but then again its always easy to be better knowing when it's not you who is in the situation, or your purchase is working fine.Tom
July 2, 200322 yr Hello, still I got no help how to use your software this 10days try-out-periode. But I got the code by e-mail from you at 07:50h GMT 07-02-2003. I have to work making some money now and will have a try if the code works this afternoon GMT about 17:00h GMT. maybe you could provide us anyway with a solution to get this 10 days free use periode working. I am one of your customers whom changes essetial system settings and OS software and components from time to time and will love to have a working 10days periode. I dislike it when RadarContact doesnt work anymore untill I send and wait about the new code by e-mail. But I do not spent all my awaik time playing around with FS2k2, I got some hourse a day doing my work. I hope I express myself clear enough, 'cause english is not my native language. Sometimes I use too hard choosen words when I try to express my feelings. I have too few of practise training english. So, sadly no one at any forum helps me by correcting me and teaching some english, but reacting unpleased about the way how I write. My sign tells everyone that I am not an nativ english speaker/writer...Have a nice day though... Regards, Torben Hadler
July 2, 200322 yr Torben, there is a thread at the top "Registration instructions **please read** that should help you out.Yep, communicating in a foreign language can be quite tricky when trying to convey your true intentions. It's hard to know how people will react to certain words or phrases especially since different people interpret them in different ways and according to how they WANT to interpret it. :)However for one "pilot of an older Boeing airplane" communicating in a civil manner in ANY language seems to be impossible./Krister Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
July 3, 200322 yr Hi Krister, well, thanx for understanding my language problem. 'till now I got the reg code key etc. and have had my first flight. It was not bad at all. Just the already known problems about fuel usage of just first ine tank and getting inbalanced situation. I red the posts and so I didnt even tried to use the FMC computed descent but descented manualy by setting up the AP by hand. Thanx nature I git FSBuild 2 and will get the update where I can export plans to the PMDG B73xTNG. But I am somehow unpleased not being able to import any FS2k2 flightplans like in PSS and DF panels. Another topic may be the loader... I love the ACLoader4 from Scott, cause it is much more accurate and tells me even how much fuel I will need etc. But PMDG uses the reference datum position not at the physical centre of the aircraft but where the cockpit is located. Thats weared and can only be done in such a simulation like FS2kX... And how realistic is it that just one value gets modified by the PMDG Loader not all the passanger and cargo positions along the x and y axes? Even the PSS and DF Loader software are much better. So, now whe have B737TNG aircrafts which are centered at the cockpit location what is not realistic at all... Who am I to judge? :7 >Torben,>>there is a thread at the top "Registration instructions>**please read** that should help you out.>>Yep, communicating in a foreign language can be quite tricky>when trying to convey your true intentions. July 3, 200322 yr "(...) I was in the process of doing a lookup to help you. Afterreading your attack on another forum member I am going back tomy previous task helping another customer (...)"How much more infantile can PMDG yet become? It will be really hard to beat this example. Jaap Verduijn.
July 3, 200322 yr Let me help you out, this is not a public forum, it's PMDG's forum on Avsim (not public) but *private* which has rules to follow including whatever rules PMDG chooses for their own forum. PMDG are people and deserve our respect, when they see one who has let their frustration be put on onther forum member, they have every right to remove that person's post from their forum or whatever else they decide. Robert, being the great guy he is, handled the situation better than most would. What we don't need hear is you PERSONAL opine on PMDG conduct, this is a place for all of us to talk about the products and have a good time, not come off with this type of post. So let's get back to having a good time, sound like a plan?[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? July 3, 200322 yr "(...) provide us anyway with a solution to get this 10 days free use periode working (...)"Torven, there is nothing "free" about the 10 days period. One can only install the plane after having paid 40 dollars, so where does the "free" concept come in? PMDG's wording of a 10 days period of "grace" isn't too clear or realistic either. They make it seem like they're doing us a favor by "giving" us those ten days, but truly and verily: it's a LIMITATION, not a "gift"!I really think PMDG should not make their customers go through this hassle. In fact, after having received the payment of 40 dollars, the *only* thing PMDG is supposed, expected and legally required to do is to promptly, swiftly and without any bother at all provide their customers with the full and unrestricted enjoyment of the purchased product. Jaap Verduijn.
July 3, 200322 yr The 10 day period allows a paying customer to use the full aircraft while waiting for thier CODE, *free* has nothing to do with this. It's a grace period, plain and simple and allows the customer and PMDG ample time to send in codes and send serial codes out. Thanks~[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? July 3, 200322 yr Hi,ah yes, my fault. I doo understand it right, but sometimes I get confused using the right words in english. Well, It is not for every one, but for the already paying customers. I see it as a free gift, 'cause it is very pleasant for these customers whom have to work as webmaster or system administrator etc. and have to change often certain system parameters etc. of the PC and Windows. I as well work in this businuess and change quite often the system. So, here we have the FIRST product which gives us this time to not getting nervous when wanting to enjoy this hobby and the B737TNG after a "big" change in the system. BUT what about when just moving the partition where the FS2k2 is completely by Norton Ghost to another new Harddrive? Will I get this message of faulty maschine code or alike? You may know that the new drive and new size and order of partitions change big time, even when the name of the logic drive is the same as befor so the registration stuff of windows will still work... Radar Contact has no problem with it, ah, no other product as a FS2k2 addon has a problem with it. For windows it aint a big deal having a new harddrive. It would be a GIFT if these 10 days grace would work as this protection stuff in a hardcore situation what may be a normal situation for some of us. So it would be a real nice and usefull free period for using the PMDG B737 between legal install and registration process.>"(...) provide us anyway with a solution to get this 10 days>free use periode working (...)">>Torven, there is nothing "free" about the 10 days period.
