July 2, 200322 yr >Where and how? Can somebody explain or specify the proper>path for 767pic data to be extracted? I do not own 767pic.>WillemJust let it install itself into the base path, which should be FS2002FMCWP me thinks.
July 2, 200322 yr Thanks Marc fot he reply, much appreciated. I have downloaded the latest NAV data all-in-one file and placed in the 2002/FMCWP folder (which I had to create since I do not own 767pic).The CDU IDENT page says NAV DATA NOT-VALID. Which reduces my TNG to a very nice 737-200.:D What is the exact path?Do I have to unzip the apps, star and sid folders manually in the FMCWP folder? But even without the CDU, the planes handles nice on raw data...nice job.One confused simple pilotWillem
July 2, 200322 yr It sounds like you got the WRONG file my friend. What you need is the AIRAC file, not the all in one. The AIRAC file is a self extracting EXE. We have sids and stars for this aircraft because the PIC ones are currently not compatible format although it needs the airac. [h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith[/h5][h6]The Next Great one? July 2, 200322 yr Okay the problem has been solved...I downloaded the wrong files from navdata.at. You have to download the latest AIRAC file and run the EXE. The SID/APPS/STAR database fron navdata.at does not seem to work.Willem:-cool
July 2, 200322 yr Where do you download the AIRAC.exe file? I don't have a database on the FMC either..Tim
July 2, 200322 yr Hello to everybody!First of all,I have to say this is a great plane.Having the real 737-600 manual in my hand, and comparing it...just little things are not done, but the rest..the real plane!!Well,my only problem ,is the database for the FMC.I own PIC767,and have a good SID/STAR database, but I quite don
July 2, 200322 yr Hi Joaquin! You are very much on the right track.1. Go to www.navdata.at and login (free registration is needed).2. Click "download AIRAC Cycles" on the menu to the left.3. For me the default choise is the 0304 cycle and 767PIC. If you see something else, then select these items.4. Click on the icon of a shared folder to download the file. Place the file whereever you like. I have a folder called AIRAC in the FS2002/FMCWP folder. If you don /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
July 2, 200322 yr Hi Tord!!First of all, have to say thank you!!!Well,I did what you told me,and now that everything has been installed, what I have in that FMCWP folder, are 4 folders(APP,SID,STAR,FPL)from previous installation on the 767PIC,and 5 text document icons, which are from different sizes(774 kb,780 kb,9080kb,2290 kb,and 1 kb),that contains a looooooooot of waypoints, airports, nav aids,etc...I suppose that that
July 2, 200322 yr Anyone know what's up with the log-in at navdata? I'm registered there and it's been a while since I last downloaded but now I can't find a way to log-in. The only active link I see is PayPal. There is a "not logged in" message but no place to actually log-in. Do I have a browser problem?
