PMDG 737NG Export Module for FSNavigator now available

Featured Replies

You can get it in the file libraries, and I've sent it to FSNav support to get it posted on their web site.http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=38503Aaron

First I want to thank you for an outstanding job, it has made my life a lot easier...improving on already two great programs, FSNav and the 737. I also would like to know if you made any changes in the module from the ones sent out to the one posted in the library?Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference. :)

The last version I sent out is the same one I posted. You can make sure you have the right version by viewing the Version information in the file properties. Version 1.0.0.3 is the latest.Glad to hear it works well for you.Aaron

Thanks... in advance just D/l'dSteve

Have been using this .dll for the last few days - saves much time planning flights although still having a few problems getting the aircraft FMC to do as it is told once the flightplan is imported. LNAV is fine but VNAV inputs don't appear to work for me (ie the BOD point is ignored by the FMC although this may be a programming error on my part rather than anything to do with the DLL!).Is anyone else exporting FsNav plans into the FMC having similar problems? Would be interested to know.RegardsAdam Moore

The only real test to isolate problems in the export module is to have you create the flight plan manually in the FMC. If it still has the same problem, then it would have nothing to do with the export module. If it doesn't have the same problem, then save the flight plan using the FMC so I can figure out what is different between the FMC plan and the plan I created.Aaron

Thanks for this! Tried it last night and it worked great. Although I don't let vnav handle my descent, so I can't confirm that problem.

Has anyone else who has installed the FsNav-PMDG export .dll tried using the crossing altitude/speed hold function? Flightplanned EGSS-KELAVIK last night. Exported FsNav-PMDG FMC. LNAV once again worked fine but the FMC ignored the TOC/TOD points even though they appeared on the FMC. I deliberately programmed in more cross alt/speed points in FsNav to check the PMDG FMC followed them.I left the aircraft in VNAV/LNAV - presumably it should then follow both heading and level changes in the FMC?Any ideas?RegardsAdam Moore

I added a alt crossing in the FSNav and then exported it to the FMC...it does not show up in the FMC. I have not tried a speed/alt. crossing of a waypoint.

It may be running into the same problem we had with the Fsbuild to PMDG export. Although our experiences were with the initial NG release, we never were quite able to get the alt only export to work properly and ended up dropping the alt export completely in favor of exporting the route information only.Regards.Ernie.

Paragon, please email me the PLN file from FSNav and the RTE file that you exported to [email protected], and I'll take a look.I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who had trouble with this. :-)Aaron

Interesting. I was just able to download it, but that doesn't mean anything. Do you have trouble downloading other files from the libraries. If you email me at [email protected] (or just post your address), I'd be happy to send it to you. You can also download it from the FSNavigator download page.Aaron
