December 4, 200322 yr First the link:https://164.214.2.62/products/digitalaero/index.cfmThen the qualifier:I have no idea how to use this information. Apparently, one can download numerous (as in a complete set of US) PDF en route charts, approach plates, etc. but I have only been able to find a subset of these (usually updated versions). I'm posting the link in hopes that someone here will figure it out and explain it to me!Thanks,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
December 5, 200322 yr Hi, GridleyBasically the site has two principal parts. DAFIF (Digital Aeronatical Flight Information File) is technical info as a monthly cycle for AIRAC actualization (in short). Our friend Terry Yingling (Autor of the PMDG SID/STAR database) uses this info for update SID/STAR data. The other part is FLIP (Flight Information Publications) contains public info related to Last Modifications, FAA Updates, Enroute Change Notices, Urgent Change Notices, Information Updates, and a set of links to sites like this: Contract Fuel, Military NOTAM System, Foreign Clearance Guide, and FAA/NACO US Airport Diagrams . All of this info is the essential knowledge base for all AIRMEN for a safe and efficient airspace usage. In conclusion: flight simmers, noting to do in this site. From the above links, I found this interesting site: USA Airports Diagrams (up to date):http://www.naco.faa.gov/ap_diagrams_acc.aspHope this helpRegardsDirk Trotteyn (SANT)
