Does anyone actually fly the plane any more?

Featured Replies

I LOVE the PMDG! I haven't been able to fly it because my MS Precision 2 broke :-(I will, however, be back to flying it primarily, especially after SU2! I mainly flew the PMDG before my joystick broke for that matter. No negativity towards the PMDG team or Beta testers here!!Chris

It's hard to disagree with a post like this. I finally turned off IE and stopped refreshing long enough to take a flight. It was flawless (as usual) and once again the NG proved itself to definitely be the best plane in my e-hanger as well.A very good point and dually noted Aaron.__Josh

Negativity? What negativity?Apart from a couple of posts, I think most of the stuff in the Forum is lighthearted and totally harmless. If you have a problem, do a search or just ask....many would be more than willing to help you.As for flying the plane, three weeks ago, I reformatted and decided that I was going to wait for SU2 before re-installing the NG. I'm still waiting.... :) so to answer your question....NO...I am NOT flying the NG. Lots of time on my hands...

Three weeks ago? A week ago you said you had just reformatted! How virtual time flies.Andy b

YepSure do still fly the plane (have a look at my sig :D)!Cheers, Liam

Great plane. Still buggy. Tired of it dropping out of LNAV/VNAV in cruise for no apparent reason and crashing into the sea drowning all my passengers.Have stopped using it until the "SU2" update is finally released.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzAdam Moore

>P.S. If you feel the need to reply to this post and attack me>or register your disagreement, please just send me a private>message instead so I can properly ignore your comments without>bothering everyone else.I'm sorry, but you'll have to properly ignore my comments here in public, as I register my disagreement. :)I don't see much negativity on this forum. Mostly just people very excited about the imminent SU2 release. PMDG is doing an excellent job of staying in touch with the community, and many of us have voiced our gratitude.I fly two or three flights per evening with this incredible plane.(Not all in realtime, of course. :) I just finished a flight from Denver to San Francisco on VATSim. I even decided to turn off the AP, AT & FD and fly the approach the old fashioned way. :)I've gone through Tim's tutorial, yet I still learn new stuff about this plane almost each time I fly. Once SU2 is on my hard drive, I'm sure I'll have even more learning to look forward to.

If there was negativity, you would see CRVM's blood boiling a lot more than you're seeing now. When is the last time Randy really came out and took someone to task, plucking around like a chicken that just laid eggs? That's a guage of the level of negativity here....there's none.Sorry Randy, I couldn't resist this shot at you, and I know you won't start plucking at me because of your early new years resolution to "not pluck at Anthony when he attacks me".....:-)

Sorry if I sound negative but I am pretty sick of the wait.If SU2 is as good as they are making out then I am sure I will continue to sing the 737NG's praises.RegardsAdam Moore

Only good things to say here. I'm enjoying my time learning about the systems of the NG and getting better with my flight planning. I've taken the 'study for finals' approach so I can be better prepared to enjoy the NG even more upon the update release. I am still flying every chance I get in the meantime. Thanks for your efforts PMDG!Best Regards to All,Dave Branca

I've only ever had a problem on approach with the PMDG other than that one of the best addons i've got. Can't wait for SU2!RegardsLawrence Ashworth

Well I was till yesterday. I had to reformat my computer...So I decided to try and wait till su2 arives. So I have been re reading the manuals...

Hmm,I have to disagree with you Aaron. I have not read any negativity here.Remember, "For Every Action There Is An Equeal and Opposite Reaction"You will have poeple who are not quite so easily pleased and you will have those people like yourself who are easily pleased. You must not discrimainate between the two. The anxious have as much right to vent there frustration as you do with venting your enthusiasm. This is a good quality to have in the forum. It gives PMDG a general understanding as to how there customers feel. The key is to keep it civil. I believe that has been the case for the most part.Your post only serves to insight riot against those you show contempt for. Is that not a negative post by defintion.Just my thoughtsNigel
