February 28, 200422 yr Look at the products page and you'll find everything you are looking for. Models will be -400, -400D and -400F. PMDG do never give any information on release dates or deadlines and price is not known yet, either.
March 4, 200422 yr Just looked at the home page / products, BUT...>Look at the products page and you'll find everything you are>looking for. Models will be -400, -400D and -400F. PMDG do>never give any information on release dates or deadlines and>price is not known yet, either.... it only says 747-400, 747-400D and 747-400M..Now, PLEASE PMDG-TEAM can you confirm/advise you will be doing a B747-400F - Thank you.Cheers,Norbert - CLX001www.virtualcargolux.orgPS: There are potentially over 100 pilots (@ the moment) awaiting this ;-)))
March 4, 200422 yr I am just guessing but I would have to say no on the -F due to the fact that the -F does not have the extended upper deck so the team would have to produce a totally different model for just the -F so in all likely hood, don't count on it. Eric
April 16, 200422 yr Hello PMDG friends,i know you guys are finalizing the 738/739... excellent, cant wait to get me fingers on that one ;-)BUT How is the 400 doing ??? April 16, 200422 yr Come on guys. Let's leave the team alone on this one. Let's give them time to get the 800/900 out to us first. Sheesh!!!------------------------------------------------------------------Joe F."It's not the fall that kills ya. April 16, 200422 yr The -400F is planned. It will probably come in a separate add-on together with the -400M. But it's too early to tell. Once the 737-800/900 is out, we will provide you with a complete product announcement and detailed features list (I can already promise it will be very long). Please note this is not an official announcement, so don't hold us to it. :)http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/quicky.jpgCheers!

April 16, 200422 yr Did you only read that first sentence? I went on to say it's too early to tell. Also I didn't mention anything about having to wait 6 months for the add-on.If you think about it, all four 747 variants with three engine types each and virtual cockpit and cabin options will equal 24 different models. Add textures to all those models and the base package can easily be over 100MB in download size. We would also not be able to release in a timely manner, with all the additional requirements of each model (e.g. different door synoptics for the -400, LCD screens for the -400F, etc.).So it is not just in our interest, but primarily in the interest of our customers to split this massive project apart. The base package will be very complete as it is.So as I said, just hang on for a while and we'll release all the details. The decision hasn't even been made yet.
April 16, 200422 yr This sounds sooo great to me!!Thanks for the early information, Marc!!Greetings, Roland
April 16, 200422 yr Not asking for a date. Just a question. When producing and modeling an aircraft what is the most time consuming part of the build? Seeing the panel made me think what is the hardest part the gauges the panel or the exterior/interior model. Or listening to these type questions. :-lolThanks Andrew
