Hi AndrewI would guess it's the things you don't see. The AFS (A/P F/D and A/T)logic, The FMC programming and the programming of the CDS (Common Display System) for the glass displays. And get all these systems to work together. Since all of these systems are programmed as gauges I guess the answer to your question would be the gauges. Not belitteling any of the other diciplines though. Also the fine tuning of the airfile I would assume takes a lot of time. Second would be the testing. ;-)These above notes are only my own thoughts. It would be interesting to hear one of the PMDG guys tell the true story! :-)Cheers,

You know, It doesn't matter how many addons you make for the B744 but one thing is sure your liveries are for free charge and we can't tell that about PSS. But A base pack for the B744 is strange,-400M is the base I quess. Only the 400F you can see as addon. But focus us on the B737-800/900 for now.

Hi everyone..What is the difference between the 400, 400D, 400M? Only models Ive herd of were the 400, 400F, 400ERIn regards to what was said about not splitting the package like the NG. I think what would be worrying people is that most jumped at the 600/700 base product because it was needed to use the NG800/900. But now we are told that the 800/900 is only for FS2004 and therefore the people that only brought the 600/700 because they needed to.. wont be able to fly what they actually wanted if they havent got FS2004.. Please dont say go and get FS2004! I do have it as many people do but Im not happy with the way it runs on my computer and therefore am sticking with FS2002.If that makes any sense.. But like you said... its too early to tell with the B747.Cheers.Ryan

The 400M is a Combi as John mentioned - meaning it can carry both Passenger's and Cargo depending on the operators whim :)The 400D is the designation for the 'Domestic' version of the 747. Which is designed for use on short haul/high density routes. It's basically a regular -400 with an all coach config and the major difference of the -300's wings. The Winglets aren't really needed for shorter routes.Currently only ANA and JAL have them in use I believe.

it may be a bit early to ask but do you have any exterior shots?lesse now: 3 engine models * 3 model types (VC etc) * 3 models (-D,-M, regular) * 2 satcom (satcom + no satcom) * all the antennae/door models.that's a lot of models.....any chance of a CD version from launch?
