Did you already see the updated pics at www.precisionmanuals.com??BTW. If you look at the FMC you see a little part of the ACARS.

I just love that nose wheel gear!!!Cheers,

Was just thinking about that picture after having a look - can that picture actually be real...that you will see that kind of graphics in FS9? Looks almost too good to be true if that's the case :-)

Look at the nose gear closely, they've used very hi res textures.Hmmm ACARS too :-)I am very excited about this addon...I hope we have a very complex 744 Simulation package...Something to replace PS1 (I know FS will be limited in certain aspects) still I hope PMDG can push the limits as far as possible.-Alex

When I saw the nose wheel at first, I truly believed that it was a photo. And I still "almost" do... It's so darn real. But I guess the real wheel looks much more "complicated".Anyway, GREAT WORK PDMG! And lets have that 747 flying soon :)

And what about the ground, does it really look like that in FS9...? Hmm...I'm still having some problem belive that is an actual screenshot from FS9 but I'm sure PMDG can comment on that...;-)

Is that not a picture? ;) hehe LOLI also really thought that it was a picture at first sight! Thought you guys were kidding or something! If the rest of the plane is half that good, i'll be really satisfied.Cheers,Ian Udingahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

Don't worry, we all accused Vin of sending a real photo to us on the tester's list when he sent that nosegear one a while back too!

So what you're saying is that the screenshot is an actual one from within FS9? If that's the case I'm truely amazed...and I'm still curious not only by the look of the gear but also the pavement the a/c are sitting on - any special add-on's used in the shot?

That wheel is tooo freaky. It's not often I look twice but I had to check 4 times whether it was the CG rendered wheel. I still think it looks too real. "hyper" real is what I like to call these things.

It says below the picture:"Exterior Model Nose Gear RenderNot an actual FS2004 screenshot"Hope this helps! ;-)

Yep...guess you should read the text below too and not just stare at the pic ;-) Noticed now that the same thing goes for the center console. But honestly...isn't it a bit of "false marketing" to include these kind of pics together with the actual FS screenshots...;-)?!Either way I'm very much looking forward to this add-on!!

Hey guyses those are rendering not FS shots. The ACARS you see on the FMC is probably mapped texture.

Hey everyone,Yea, I think that ACARS is a mapped texture too, but I'm almost sure they have designed ACARS for the 744.About the "Not an actual FS2004 screenshot" part... I realized they are not FS renders after seeing the shadow on a seats in VC shot, they are renders that you would get from the 3D Max and programs like that, and you know, I really felt bad for the PMDG team, cause they design the models that nice and detailed, but the FS is not capable of that lighting and smoothness; Now at least they can have a chance of showing the true result of their hard work to us ;).Let hope to see these lighting capabilities in FS2006 or whatever it's gonna be called. Actually, I don

Vala, you are rightThat is 3Ds.It is a shame that the old FS graphic engine does not use pixel shading, otherwise we could get a rendering closer to that shot.On the FPS department, I think that with a good Video card and a good computer with todays specs FS would be capable to render that quality w/o performance penalties. At least I hope that they enable HT support on the next version....But that is a whole new discussion... I do not agree with the fellow simmer that thinks that showing 3d renders is not a good marketing strategy, That's their true work, its FS rendering engine what is limited.
