May 2, 200521 yr I've been following the discussion on the Squawkbox website forum about SB3 dropping off the modules menu when loading PMDG aircraft.Seems it's a known issue.Just wondering if anyone on this side of the problem has any suggestions or insight into why it happens with PMDG aircraft.I started having the problem after recently updating to SB3.03 andFSUIPC 3.48 with the 737NG 900.Ultimately, I'm just very curious. Strange little bug. Thanks in advanceBruce BeattieSlugger

May 2, 200521 yr This happens to me.What I always do when I fly is start with the default Cessna, shut down the engine and master switch (so that I have a dark 737). I also start up SB3 right before I switch to the PMDG 737.David Kissling
May 2, 200521 yr It does happen here, but with me, only when I load Servinfo first. If I start SB3 first I have no probs. I can then start Servinfo with no problem. But I do notice that whenever SB3 is open there is no longer a choice for SB3 under the modules menu. I find that odd.Regards,Tom i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |
May 3, 200521 yr Gents - I think this is by design. I remember Joel talking about the SB3 option disappearing from the menu to prevent users from starting multiple instances of SB3. As some of you have observed, the option returns when SB3 is stopped.Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
May 3, 200521 yr I had this happen once permanently, where SB3 wasn't running and it wasn't showing up in the modules menu. I checked my modules folder in FS and it was there so I just reinstalled SB3.I'm not sure if I left SB3 running in my last FS session, so that may have been it - or it may have been a one off. I havn't had the problem since my fresh install of FS9 ;). I think it's great that it disappears from the menu when running. It saves me forgetting that I'm live!!!!!
