February 17, 200620 yr Sure! There is a NASA at ABQ (last time I was there) with an airborne LASER... big blister on top is probably a SATCOM antenna like the NEACP E-4 that belongs to the USAF. Really cool looking.Dan Downs Dan Downs KCRP
February 17, 200620 yr Dude that's some good work!Didn't happen to find a file called 'PMDG_747-400F_R1V1.ZIP' did you? :-) Mark Adeane - NZWN
February 17, 200620 yr Only the first one is (was) hidden... simply because the laser effect was done in Photoshop and is not visible in MSFS. In fact, on the real thing the laser is not visible either.
February 18, 200620 yr Commercial Member Yep, a laser is simply a highly focused beam of light (all the photons are at the same quantum energy state if you want to get technical ;)) and isn't visible without the presence of some sort of particle in the air to reflect the light. In a vaccum, it's invisible. Same idea as a flashlight beam or a spotlight - it's not the light you're seeing, it's the reflection of dust in the air.
