April 22, 200620 yr I'm having a problem, not exactly sure what causes it, but i have recently installed ultimate terrain europe and the new uk2000 gatwick, so it probably comes from these, but wanted to check here.the last 2 flights i've made, i have received the following error:your computer has run out of available memory. flight simulator will now exit. you may not have enough free space on your hard drive. run disk clean up to free up space, and then try running flight simulator again.I'm flying the B747-400, flying from LIRF-EGKK. After the first time, i deleted some unused files, ran disk cleanup and then defraged. I just tried to repeat the flight, only to get the same result - again on final approach.Does anyone have any suggestions? Alaister Kay
April 22, 200620 yr This appears to be a known FS9 issue. Try this:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892610/en-usCheersSteve Cheers Steve Hall
April 22, 200620 yr When did you install UT Europe? I seem to recall reading about a small issue with UT Europe and OOM errors. I do believe this was fixed in a patch, so you might try to redownload and reinstall.
April 22, 200620 yr If you go to the Flight1 forum for UT Europe you will find an ongoing discussion that indicates this is a known issue, and outlines a manual fix for the problem pending an update release.DJ
April 22, 200620 yr Author Thanks all, I'll have a look at the UT forums. Didn't think it was to do with the 747 :-) Alaister Kay
