Hello if you have a registered version of FSUIPC you can program a steering tiller. On real a/c this is used to steer the nosewheel when taxing. Since it is independent of the flight controls, it does not steer the plane. If you search the forum I know there is a thread regarding how to program it. Joe

Why not do the controls check after pushback before taxi? Then the issue of rudder/tiller is moot.

Thanks William! Joe

The only problem is the FSUIPC tiller is just an axis assigment for the rudder so you still can't do a rudder check when taxing however I've read on the forums it's possible to model a "proper tiller." I believe a few aircraft already have this feautre!PaulIL_62 ;-)
