August 26, 200619 yr Hi in real life i see that pilot often test the flight controls on taxing. with the pmdg 737 747 when testing the ailerons and rudder while taxing theplane turns...so im obviosly doing something wrong. anyone know what? Thorbjørn Henriksen
August 26, 200619 yr Hello if you have a registered version of FSUIPC you can program a steering tiller. On real a/c this is used to steer the nosewheel when taxing. Since it is independent of the flight controls, it does not steer the plane. If you search the forum I know there is a thread regarding how to program it. Joe Joe Colao

August 26, 200619 yr Why not do the controls check after pushback before taxi? Then the issue of rudder/tiller is moot. Dan Downs KCRP
August 27, 200619 yr The only problem is the FSUIPC tiller is just an axis assigment for the rudder so you still can't do a rudder check when taxing however I've read on the forums it's possible to model a "proper tiller." I believe a few aircraft already have this feautre!PaulIL_62 ;-)
