October 31, 200718 yr Commercial Member Gents,I understand that the FS9 update coming witht the FSX version of the queen is a bonus for your customers. But can please someone from PMDG calrify which of the updates which are mentioned in the FS9 update readme file are implemented? As far as I can see the options to shutdown the copilot side screens, the option to change the RA callouts & approaching minimums, the ability to change the fuel by writing instead of using the cursors are not inplemented at the FS9.By reading the readme I understand that these are implemented.ThxChris Chris Makris PLEASE NOTE PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at http://forum.pmdg.com
October 31, 200718 yr Hi, It would be fine if the missing features that are listened in the readme could be implemented with a future update. Jan-Paul
October 31, 200718 yr I too will be mostly flying the FS9 version for the foreseeable future- how do you turn off the FO displays? I have searched here, PMDG OPS and the read-me with no joy. Also, would love to have a thread specifically for the FS9 update- discuss issues, performance, details etc,Best-Carl F. November 1, 200718 yr PMDG, or anyone with the answer for that matter- how does one turn off the FO's displays, and does this (hopefully) increase performance further. If its in the readme, PMDG OPS or the last few pages of posts, I'm sorry, I can't find it :(.Best-Carl F. Avari-Cooper BAW0225http://online.vatsimindicators.net/980091/523.png Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

You have the option to select - "Enable First Officer Displays" or not. "Some users have reported that disabling the FO displays improves the FPS of the overall simulation." See page 30 of 44 in the "Titles and Menu" PDF included in the 747400 Operating Manual. I have not disabled it myself to give you advice, but I'm confident it will work for you.Good luck,Ken Ken
November 2, 200718 yr Commercial Member Gents-again, this is an FSX-only option, to help with performance. Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
November 2, 200718 yr Commercial Member Cam I just add this is very simple to do in fs9 without the patch... just go into the panel cfg and put infront off the F/O PFD and ND entries.Rob Rob Prest
