August 7, 200817 yr I only now realized that I haven't seen Lefteris replies for quite a long time and also noticed that he has started Flightsimlabs. Does that mean he is totally out of the picture. To be perfectly honest, to me Lefteris seemed unreplacable to PMDG being the lead technical developer (I think) and also being around for so long. That is of course doing unjustice to the rest of the crew and my first feeling - PANIC!!! - is I suppose a slight overreaction. :D Still, I was surprised to realize this since I haven't read about it anywhere. Or have I missed something? Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
August 7, 200817 yr I am not sure if he has left completely but he has his own company now and is working on the FSX version of the SSTSIM Concorde. You can read all about it and his new company over at www.sstsim.comMark. Mark CYYZ
August 7, 200817 yr The proper link to Lefteris new company is www.flightsimlabs.com. The Concorde will be the first aircraft that FSL will release. That is because the owner of SSTSim, Andrew Wilson, has joined FSL. As far as I understood, Lefteris will continue to work with PMDG unless all planned projects for FSX are completed, at least.Rainer Rainero
August 7, 200817 yr Commercial Member Krister-Yes- Panic would definitely be an overreaction. Lefteris is just one member of a very talented team. :-pHe has been quite open with the PMDG team that his goal is to run a business. He is wrapping up his role here with the MD-11 releases and we wish him well with his new venture. Robert S.
