PIC on VATSIM - September

Featured Replies

They're back gang!We have four busy days of flying come September with PIC on VATSIM events. There will be two events, one of which will be a three day event. The actual dates are NOT confirmed yet but my planning has it as follows:PIC on VATSIM - Kenya Safari to Tel-AvivSunday, September 7 or September 14 - NOT CONFIRMEDThis is a long overdue trip into the new VATSIM ATC division built by Ilan and friends. You will be introduced to flying in a region that most of you have never visited and promises to be fun and informative.PIC on VATSIM - The BBall RunFriday, Saturday, and Sunday following the Safari flightThis will be representative of three days in the life of Captain William Ball. It will include real world routing as well as a few surprise lay over requirements and specific items to be followed on the turns. BBall is helping with the planning so this one should be a lot of fun, crazy to him that we want to do this but fun for us none the less.As usual, I am trying to arrange ATC for as much of flights as possible. Charts will either be provided or linked in the individual flight packages, as will be the FSBuild flight plans and scenery tips. There should be at least a couple of the legs that fit everyone's personal schedules so I hope you ALL find the time to join in!

Mike, thanks for posting this.Off topic, but have you heard anything from any of the YYZ guys since the power outage last week.

Yes Mark, :-zhelp they are once again electrified *:-*

The lights are on....but no one is home :-)Rob.Mike - schedule looks great!

Someone found some money for the electricity meter then.

Yes, we put a few pennies in and turned the knob and the N/E lit up once again ;-)I think there will be more to this story than what we are being told right now, should be interesting.I think Bill Gates is behind it all!

Thanks Mike! This is the best thing I've seen posted in this forum lately!

Come join the fun!
