There's a lot more besides that.>>Wade>Wade,I saw some of these features (full overhead, pedestal, TCAS display in HSI) in the video. Quite frankly, from what I saw, this is going to be THE #1 add-on. Now, would you kindly please help me look for my jaw ;)Adam
September 20, 200421 yr I have been waiting for this since 2002!BUT I must say that it disapoints me a bit, that you've decided to create the non ER!That leaves us with 7 airlines two from Japan, that's good! One from Algeria, don't fly to or from Algeria...Two from China, don't their either but good...One from Korea good...And last but not least, one from the US...Look at the above list, of ER costumers!United, Qantas, BA, First Choice, Britannia, Condor, El Al, Israir, Air Canada, UPS, Mexicana, AeroMexico, Varig, Hawaiian, Air NewZealand and last but not least we have Air Pacific...I think these are major airlines, and routes which are flown by the ER of course...But again just to have this bird is way way nice, but I must speak my mind of this...How come you chose the NON ER when the ER is also used for domestic if you only had to choose one, why wasn't it the ER version? Thanks again for this panel and your work!Boaz...
September 20, 200421 yr Commercial Member We have had three current 767 pilots testing the sim. Right now we have two because one had to bow out recently due to being dragged of for retraining on a scarebus :-) We've put a lot of effort into getting RW behaviour on such things as engine failure at V1. The yaw effects and performance are very realistic. We also have engineering people who know the systems even better than the pilots would.Wade

September 20, 200421 yr Hi Wade,First and foremost, thanks for the preview and I am sure you and your team will have a fantastic product out. My only question is: At engine start-up will we be able to see realistic rises in N1, N2, and especially EGT and FF. In MSFS every start feels like a Hot start :) I hope you can give us an MSFS first by having a realistic startup.Cheers,Dinshaw,
September 20, 200421 yr Commercial Member Yes. The original already did that. This version improves on it.Wade
September 20, 200421 yr Hi LaurentWelcome back to the forum and (if I am right) my chance to answer your first post! ;-). Hope you and the others will never have reason to leave this forum (agin) with anger...And of course: Nice to hear/see almost feel the V2 or "LevelD". I can wait for it and I will.No 757 is bad news, but understandable (the comunity and guys like Tero will see into this problem I think/hope)So do you think I finaly have to get me a copy of FS2004? Since now I am still quite busy with PICV1 and PMDG 73-7 in FS2002. Or let me put it different: If we expect FS2006 in late 2005 will it be compatible?
September 20, 200421 yr Wade,When are all the sweet features of this baby revealed?I'm VERY anxious to know all the details :(For example, is the overhead panel fully functional? Can I use the fuel jettison? What about the RAM air turbine? etc. etc. :(
September 20, 200421 yr Even though I know nothing about the current project, I can gurantee you the overhead will be fully functional and that it will have RAM air turbine and fuel jettison feature. Thats how confident I am...Alexhmmm wonder if we will see weather radar :)
September 21, 200421 yr Thanks for the post, but just to add my 2 centsI must admit i was a bit disappointed at the lack of new features in the new version. But that is for a very good reason...the guys did such a great job on version one, there's not much left to do(that flightsim will allow at least)
September 21, 200421 yr Well there is a lot that they could improve on from the last update and the added features availble in fs2004. The other items like vector gauges and updated FMC seem to be already delt with ;-). I am also sure they got the EO on the FMC. And Wade please do not forget my small almost meaningless request to remove the climb restriction from the climb page after passing 10000' ;-) Can't wait to fly this once again in fs! You guys rock..Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Animation1.gifCaution! September 21, 200421 yr Hey Wade,Will there be an option to install or load the panel with or without the virtual cockit? Although it looks really neat, i don't see myself using it most of the time (for porformance reasons); and the mere fact that it exists will take up some frames.
September 21, 200421 yr Check Airman,How would you know about the features of LDS767 ? No feature list has been published. The only thing that has been seen is a preview video of that something is coming. I find it rather strange that so many people are deducing from that video that this/that is not modelled, or that there are no new features in LDS767.I do claim to be an expert of some sort on this type, but I wouldn't dare to start guessing about new features based on one video. My two eurocents worth.Tero PPL(A)
