I've heard it rumoured there will be a basic IQ test to pass before you are taken to the purchase page ;)

"You analogy with Big Ben doesn't quite hold water."Well, then I shall hang my head in shame and go back to sitting in the corner. Thanks for putting me in my place.

"some days I simply scratch my 56 yo bald head and wonder what ever happened to civility ... honestlythis is a tough place to visit and make a comment ... has been for many years ... what ever happened to letting someone ask their question, make their statement, wish for more info, be excited about something .... even if it is redundant or what ever ... good grief ... life is tough enough"Paul,I couldn't agree with you more. This used to be a nice forum to come back to and browse every day.I can't believe all the bickering, smart comments and negative replies that are going back and forth.Hopefully LDS will start with a completey new forum so that we can all start from scratch.Until then, I'll think I'll give this forum a miss.Bye everyone.

Maarten,It's STILL a nice forum to come back to a browse every day. That's the idea - browse and read the messages, instead of just coming in and asking the same old question for the umpteenth time. And IF people DID that, they'd probably realize that many of the forum regulars, and longtime 'contributers', spend a lot of time hurling 'zingers' at each other. If you didn't know the participants, you'd think that they were really ###### at each other. The fact is, most everyone here are friends, and some of us have a particular, or maybe sarcastic, sense of humor. If you really look at most of the posts people are complaining about, you'd see the recipient is not being treated any different than anyone else. If someone wanted to REALLY insult someone for asking a question, you'd know it. We're really taking kind of easy on folks in a public forum. :) These same people that you complain about, are the same ones that will very quickly answer any legitimate question, that hasn't already been asked a half dozen times on the first page.Just face it guys - you're just being treated like a regular. We're all in the same boat - no one is immune. There's nothing personal intended. :) And besides, you KMOW that SOME people are just asking certain questions because they just LOVE to troll.

Well he ain't in series 1. I've got that on DVD - eagerly awaiting the release of series 2,3,4 and the crap 5th one. Maybe I should go to the Universal Studios DVD forums and start asking " Is it out yet, I need to know, how much will it cost"

LOL!!!!!!Yeah... 2250 in Canadian hours = about 500 in FAA hours.. you'd be amazed at how different it is beween the 2 countries. I see regional connectors down in the states hiring guys with 1500 hours for an RJ, up here Westjet wants 4000 hours for the 737, Canjet wants 5000 or something for a 737, Harmony 5000, Air Canada doesn't actually specify but I've heard they like 2500+, Jetsgo 4000+... and you wanna you the funny thing, all they yap and whine about up here is a pilot shortage.. well from me to them... :-roll :-mad and I can't seem to find the Bravo Sierra smilie here!! :)

>Tomas>>Alright put the guns down and step away. What are you some kind>of crazy Basque separtist.;)>Just kidding but seriously the original picv1 was released it>was as close to perfect as I Have ever seen an addon and>lightyears ahead of any release since. Now we have basically>the same group working on this version and am hoping that they>hit the sweet spot the second time around.>Just keep repeating to yourself Many bugs is not>normal....Many bugs is not normal. You`ll see.>>Troy That is so absurb. Let's hear your definition of *BUG*? Something that is not modelled? Something that is modelled incorrectly? Something that makes a sim crash? The shape of the nose? Loading it up launches the PMDG NG insted LMAO? PIC is great, no doubt about that but it is FAR FROM PERFECT as are ALL OTHERS. It does get the job done. If it was so perfect in the first place then certainly there would be no need spend another YEAR just porting it to FS9 right?? Is perfection reletive? Does it qualify for FAA approaval, something under 100 dollars sims actually HAVE (Elite/On Top etc.)? Bugs are not normal? Certainly you are not a software tester Troy. In fact every single program that I have ever owned needed updates. Half Life 2 the greatest FPS and at least 6 years in the making has bugs! Maybe you should talk to Mr Gates and tell him this secret? Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/southparkcartmad.gif
PMDG 747!
Caution!
