Hey Phil I would like to see your checklist.

Hi Gary,Thanks for your reply, Would you at least take a look at it please? You will be very happy with what you see I can assure you .... ;)I do not want anything in exchange. If you do not want to use it (that's perfectly fine by me and I totally understand) I will upload it to AVSIM for all to download once the 767 has been released.Keep up the great work on this incredible aircraft for flight sim.Kind RegardsPHIL

Gary, here is a sneak preview to see if that will change your mind ????????Kind RegardsPHIL

Wade,Could you contact me please on [email protected] I would be happy to design you a checklist for the 767 PIC.Please see my previous design which was for the FeelThere ERJ in conjuction with British Airways Virtual (simply search the file library here at Avsim under my name Phil Thompson) or alternatively please email me and I will send it to you.Kind RegardsPHIL

Hi All,My checklist was created from today's released operations manual !!I hope I am not offending anyone within the Level-D team for being persistant (If I am I do apologise and will STOP) but I would like to post a few screen shots of my checklist.Once the 767 has been released (and not before) please keep a look out for this in the Avsim File Library.Kind RegardsPHILhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/103366.gifhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/103367.gifhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/103368.gifEnjoy .... ;-) ;-)

Phil,The checklist you are showing is in fact a "do-list" or a task list of one kind. The current Level-D documentation includes standard operating procedures (normal) that are Boeing based, so there isn't currently need for such a document.Checklist (real-life) are not task lists, but rather lists where the most important items are checked and the actual items are completed as so called memory items, and on the 757/767 series those items are not listed/read from any external lists. Feel free to search the Avsim file library for my 757/767 normal procedures checklist to show you an example what such a list looks like. Thanks for your effort though :)Tero

Tero, appreciate your point, Its's just a simple document based on the Standard Operating Procedures and also combining Normal Checklist items on one (two sides) A5 page. Some new pilots to the Level-D 767 may well require such an easy and quick reference / task guide if they choose to start a flight from cold and dark?Obviously this is not a replacement for, or to take anything away from the superbly detailed Level-D Simulations Operating Manual recently released but is simply to be used as just an aid.ThanksPHIL

Phil,Be sure to upload it to Avsim with a description that it suits well with the new LDS sim. It'll make a fine addition to the sim :)Tero

Phil,I know at least I would find your "checklist" very useful. Often I find that the way correct checklists are structured leaves me with questionmarks - and quite naturally so since they assume that you know what you are doing... ;) Your list is a step-by-step guidance for doing many things that the correct checklists don't describe in detail. So I'm confident many simmers will highly appreciate your work!

Thanks in advance for creating a doc like this. I find it very, very helpful, since, like the Level D guy, I'm not a pilot, but my firm doesn't put me up at Holiday Expresses.
