I'd be happy to provide ATC out of KPAE for this event, and I know my fellow controllers in ZSE Would be happy to as well, let us know the time and date, and I'll post a message about it, getting all you guys some great ATC for the trip, on the ZSE Message forums.

Thanks Paul, you just saved me a dozen emails. :)

Andrew,Training is only part of the issue. Yes, many will be able to lock and load in very short order. But how about purchase, download, installation, and flight planning. That wont happen for everyone withing 24 hours of release, although for some it will only be 24 minutes. Then take it from someone who has planned many PIC on VATSIM events, an event like this needs to be done on a Saturday GMT. Between 1600Z and 2200Z gives the most people the opportunity to attend. The later end of that range still does not work for the Australian members unless they like getting out of bed at 4 am on a Sunday morning.

This is a great idea and I will do my best to make it.

I'm definitely interested, provided we get a week or so to play with the new 767 before the flight. I'll be flying as UAL2267, and will be doing a delivery flight to either KSFO or KLAX.Jon (KSEA)http://home.comcast.net/~jskiffington/sea_fo_767-2.png

Sounds good,Will deliver this nice bird straight to EHAM/amsterdam using a KLM callsign!!Jeroen op den AkkerThe Netherlands

Indeed, a 1600z departure is essential for me in the UK if I intend on going to bed at a somewhat reasonble time LOL

Thanks to those who have 'signed up' and extra thanks to those who have volunteered advice or their time as controllers. Much appreciated guys!Just to reiterate, the event will DEFINITELY be held at least a week after release, on a weekend. This ensures everyone (both broadband and dialup customers) get plenty of time to get familiar with the a/c.Obviously there's no obligation to stay in the Seattle area during that week. The fly-out is a symbolic one and no-one will mind if you've snuck off and done some revenue flights with your VA!Having said that I'm going to hang around the area for the duration, simply because I'll need that long to get the hang of the aircraft.Mark

Count me in.As my VA doesn't operate the 767 .... dammit... I'll probably fly the house livery under callsign SUN83. (Sunchaser)Steve M

Awesome Paul thank you very much!Regarding the date and time: It would be reasonable to assume it'll be the second weekend following release (allowing time for repaints, type familiarity and so on), probably a Saturday evening GMT departure. If there are any protocols or rules that 767 drivers should know about operating in the Seattle area perhaps you could post them in the other forum topic I raised (to discuss administrative issues of the fly-out).Mark

Thanks's to Gary, look's like mine will be a flight to KDFW with the American Livery....put me down as AAL935 to KDFW.Steve Park822521AAL935 KSTL HubUPS415 KSDF Hub

Now all you guys gotta do if figure out when its gonna be released :-xxrotflmaoI'll be there, as ACA1540, gonna take it back to Toronto (Eamonn, wanna race? :D)See ya'll on release date :>

Count me in too, a nice CTP delivery flight to Heathrow. Again a 1600Z departure time would be ideal for UK pilots.. Kev
