February 18, 200521 yr Here's where you can raise your hand for a place in the fly-out. If you want a stand allocation for the big day, post here with your proposed destination once leaving Everett. Closer to the day We'll set a cut-off time for registering and create an AFCAD file. Allocation of a stand (and thus your position in the queue for departure) will be random. I'd expect the number of airplanes involved would mean your departure time would fall within in a one hour window so you won't be waiting around for hours to leave! If you post here but later decide to withdraw, let us know here also.Go for it!Mark
February 19, 200521 yr I'm in!callsign will probably be AELxxxxDestination ... uhmm... KSEA at first... but might change if there is a big tendency for the group to go to a certain place.
February 19, 200521 yr I am in, however, not sure which liveries will be available from Gary on release day, AAL or UPS. If AAL, the I will be flying as AAL935 for delivery to KMIA. If a UPS Cargo is available, the KSDF as UPS415. Got to get a parking space in Louisville before the 380 show's up LOLSteve
February 19, 200521 yr Sounds great! I'll probally be flying to EGKK or EGMH, a nice long polar route to the UK

February 19, 200521 yr Count me in also please. I'll be flying as BAW9128E to EGLL London Heathrow. It would be nice if this was set for maybe a week or so after release so that we can get a few familiarisation flights done around the KPAE area and also an ETOPS engine oil consumption verification flight completed.
February 19, 200521 yr Sounds good to me..I'll take Air Canada back to YYZ as ACA9***Looking forward to it.. Just have to check my credit cards.. lol

February 19, 200521 yr >Shouldn't we be departing from KBFI the very first day for>delivery??? sorry my ignorance...where is Everett??? in the>States??>cheersEverett field is near KSEA in washington state. KPAE is Everett - Snohomish County / Paine Field
February 19, 200521 yr Excellent idea Mark! This will be a bit tough to plan as previously noted because the release day is not set. At this point, a set of tentative dates should be planned for. I suggest the Saturday evening GMT as Mark had mentioned. There are different reasons for doing it on the weekend following release, not the least of which is most of the new LDS customers will need some familiarization time with the aircraft before jumping into an event. Consider it delivery training if you like. But I can tell you with certainty that most of you won
February 20, 200521 yr I wonder how much training one will need? I have flown PIC myself Since it was released in FS2000. As I understand it it is much the same system wise with some minor additions I am sure most are now familiar with. I think I will refresh my memory a little and be off and flying in little time. I have already set a route for myself of about 1500 nm that I have practiced in a 738 and after that I will be flying all over the place. I dont know maybe it is just me but I feel I will be flying an old friend in a new version of MSFS. Andrew
February 20, 200521 yr I love this idea! I want in. I'll be shooting for IDExxxx for Independence. But since we don't have any 767's, I'll prob be using the LDS livery. Or perhaps I could use my VA American. Decisions decisions...
