August 29, 200619 yr Hi,In the AVSIM MS Forum I saw a post from somebody telling that there are no sideviews in the 2D panel in FSX, only front view...If that is true that would be a problem for a home cockpit builder like me (and you?) because I do not use the VC but the 2D panel.I could and would not migrate to FSX is this is true.... August 29, 200619 yr This is a beta demo. I am sure the boxed version will have side views.John JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. September 1, 200619 yr Well magic, if this is true they fuc$ed us pit builders. A VC sucks when you already have gauges. There won JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. September 1, 200619 yr You can remove the VC and get a outside view only...check the view options. I used the W key to change like in the old days with 2004 and it worked like a charm...outside view with instruments only (the bottom row ones), then the next was outside view only, no instruments or anythying....Its there, but no clickable 2d view anymore, no overheads, no pedestals...all of that is built in the 3d model. September 1, 200619 yr How do you remove the VC? I have FSD's T-38 model which is what I want to use. It has VC built in. I emailed them to see if it could be removed. They said it was build in to the model?I would love it, if I could get rid of the VC. I don't need it. Then I could use the IR device that changes the views.John JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. September 6, 200619 yr The VC is part of the model file. If someone takes the time to put one in, there is no getting rid of it. Also, if there is nothing there, there is no way to add one either. Aaron
