October 2, 200223 yr Assume your running in 32 Bit not 16 ??I use the Ti 4400 and Nvidia 30.20 drivers with No problems at all Personally I dont use Beta drivers as from experience I have always suffered somewhat from problems with them.. Stick to WHQL if you can
October 2, 200223 yr Its the 40.71 drivers-I had the same troubles.http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
October 2, 200223 yr You may need to uninstall and reinstall the official detonator drivers. There is a program called detonator destroyer available at http://www.guru3d.com/ that will clear out the old drivers competely. Then I would recommend reinstalling the official 30.82 drivers. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
October 2, 200223 yr Thanks a lot for your help.It was in fact the drivers... reinstalled the 30.82 using Detonator Destroyer and everything is fine now.Strange... my MX440 "liked" the 40.71 drivers! I had no problems with it... except the "no reflections feature" typical of the MX440. ;) Once again thank you.Hugo Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
October 2, 200223 yr Using the detonator destroyer is not always enough when you are going from 30.xx drivers to 40.xx.there is a small program called: "Detonator 30.xx to 40.41 fix" It very easy to install and run.It can be found at: http://www.guru3d.com/Look under download Nvidia detonator drivers. Best regards S.Jensen
October 2, 200223 yr I had the exact same problem after installing the 40.71's. I had to turn down my "AF" (Antiscopic - something or other) setting from 8x to 1x and it immediatlly cleared them out. Good luck...AL Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
October 2, 200223 yr I had that problem appear with a Ge2 MX, and it ONLY happened when I alt+tabbed out and back. The fix for me was to simply alt+enter twice and it would go away. Good luck!-drew
