March 12, 200719 yr Author Well, I guess it will be awhile before I see FSX on my system. Look's like I'll need to switch over to PCIe, new mobo, ram and vid card. I might as well go dual core while I'm at it. The problem is, can I justify spending all that cash just to run one product, when I have a perfectly fine, souped-up FS9, that runs great. When FS9 came out it ran fine on my 1.7 gig machine. Over the next few years (as I started to add aircraft, scenery, etc.) I gradually upgraded to my current system. That's what p####s me off about the release of FSX, it's designed to run on future hardware. No wonder a lot of people are still running FS9, even the addon devs are still putting out products for it. When was the last time you saw that.Anyway, sorry to go off on a rant, I just needed to vent!
