Jim,If you're not experiencing the cloud pop ups could you please post your configuration files for AS2004 and FSUIPC?Maybe that would help out those of us who can't get rid of the pop ups. Thanks,Scott

Thanks for doing that.I give these a try.Scott

I've read some of the posts regarding the sudden cloud pop outs, but I haven't seen if it's a problem that's being addressed in the upcoming MR1 update.I was recently having the problem at FL270 over KPIT on my way to KLGA on Jan. 23.Is it a resource proble like one post said? Or is it something with my settings.I have suppression at 80 and cloud draw at 80.Global writes onTAF onWind smoothing onOvercast enhancement and fog enhancement both onI am a registered user of FSUIPC and set my visibility settings there. Thanks for any help,Scott

Jim, If it helps, the only time I get the pops is when I'm descending and approaching or crossing the suppresion alt of 10000 or 15000 i've tried both. But it's frustrating because it doesn't happen every time.//AS2004 configuration file[General]WindowPosX = 5160WindowPosY = 5205DefaultWeatherFolder = C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9ModulesActiveSky2004SuppressionCeiling = 10000SurfaceWindLimit = 10CloudLayerLimit = 10LocalSuppressionRange = 80OnlineUpdates = TrueExtendedDestinationWindsForce = FalseGlobalWrites = TrueVoicePlayback = TrueLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = TrueUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueRouteWindSmoothing = FalseLimitSurfaceWinds = FalseLimitCloudLayers = FalseDisableUpperLayerGeneration = FalseVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = FalseAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 15VATSIMData = FalseZuluConversion = -5TAFProcessing = FalseWakeTurb = TrueStartPaused = TrueUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONEI'm moving the suppresion range to 150nm and will report back.Chris
