Online Updates via VATSIM are always 1 hour behind

Featured Replies

Subject says it all, I can look at the VATSIM weather via ServInfo, but what ASV tells me is always an hour behind that. Gets kind of frustrating during flights when ATC wants you to land on one runway but your wx is giving you something else...ChuckC-130H Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ | ASUS A8V Deluxe | Antec TruePower 480 PS | 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2Pro | WD 120 gig HDD | WD 80 gig HDD | Twin WD 160 gig SATA HDDs | SB Audigy 2 | ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128 | CH Products USB Yoke | CH Products USB Pedals | Nostromo n52 | Windows XP Pro SP2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg

Hi Chuck,ASV an hour behind VATSIM? This is uncharacteristic of our system... Are you using B360, and if so, have you tried forcing the primary server to see if one gives you more current wx than the other? We have one report of the secondary server being a little behind (about 1 hour) due to served file CACHE issues, and your experience might be related to this. We are working on that problem right now.. Please give this a try (force primary) and let us know your result? Thanks!

Will do Damian, thanks. I didn't have either one checked, but now the primary is. We'll see how that works out.ChuckC-130H Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ | ASUS A8V Deluxe | Antec TruePower 480 PS | 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2Pro | WD 120 gig HDD | WD 80 gig HDD | Twin WD 160 gig SATA HDDs | SB Audigy 2 | ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128 | CH Products USB Yoke | CH Products USB Pedals | Nostromo n52 | Windows XP Pro SP2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg

Just thought I'd post that I'm noticing the same thing. I just tested this using the primary server. ASV reports system ZULU date/time as 9/26/2005 01:10Z and active wx as 252350ZThis was with VATSIM checked.
