Hi,Sorry for the problem. You need to point to your FSX folder. Please let us know.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

I have. Everytime I launch the program, I get these errors, despite pointing them to the FX install folder. It's not remembering?6.5 is suppose to work with FSX, correct? I don't need to download any updates or anything?

Hello,1 more question : I only run FSX , after installing ASV 6.5 I find in the new ASV folder a folder Active Radar (does not work in FS X), a folder ASGraphics (does not work in FS X) and ActiveRadar.dll .As these are useless may I delete them without negative effects? Thanks in advance. Thanks Jim , the cleaning of the registry did solve the problem.

Hi,Yes, you can delete them.....remember this is still a dual FS program and that is why even 6.5 install that stuff.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Hi,Run one version at a time and see if AS and FS connect. Then follow the suggestions in the FSX document for running with FSX. If you have any questions, please post or e-mail me!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

I've looked pretty extensively in the forum for an answer to this question. Let me first preface it by saying that I am getting very POOR cloud representation in FSX using AS6.5 on a separate computer via WideClient. I not only get a distinct haze layer that remains up to about 7000 feet which is far from realistic, and happens all the time, but also nowhere near the beautiful quality of clouds I get in FS9. It's so bad, that I no longer use it in FSX, preferring to use the default weather or many times WeatherMakerPro themes, which work perfectly and are beautiful (as AS6.5 should be). So to me, it doesn't seem like it's the FSX cloud set that's causing the problem.I have installed and patched AS6.5 on both computers and have FSUIPC 4.015 running on FSX.Question: The AS6.ini on the remote machine is pathed to its own C: drive (where FSX doesn't exist). On the FSX machine the same setup is in place and the AS6.ini both FS9 and FSX are pathed to their respective directories. Why am I getting such lousy graphics in FSX? And, should I change the paths in the remote AS6.ini to both directories on the host computer?Cheers,Barthttp://acquiry.com/picts/BartMig110_sml.jpgCloud9 Beta Team

Hi Bart,Sorry for the problem. Please post your ASv6.ini file. The reason for paths is for wx station updates. You can change things once.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
