Well still not a Hurricane, Tropical Storm Barry formed today and here's a shot from ASX. What's interesting is it looks like it's depicted, but right over Florida with the Eye around Orlando, not where it should be, in the Gulf Southwest of Florida?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/173046.jpg

Hi,Remember that for these weather things we are using station data and not satellite imagery. Also, we are using generic symbols, not actual Doppler Radar or anything like that. So what you see on Map is a symbolic representation of the station data, not actual images from any source. Here's a 2 June 07 snap shot of TS Barry as it moves closer to the Florida coast - weather is getting worse around the Tampa area.I almost can't wait until a hurricane develops...don't want to wish that on anyone though...but it'd be cool to see. That's strange, The cloud patterns are exactly the same as my shot yesterday, and this one just snapped below!! Other aspects like precipitation has changed. It's like it hasn't been updated since atleast yesterday. Could this be a bug??http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/173123.jpg

Yes as I noted all other weather aspects Wind, Precip, Visibility are changing in time. Look at the clouds though around Florida! There basically the same in all the shots since the one I posted Yesterday! Look at the cloud pattern in the Caribbean and Cuba, they are also still pretty much the same!
