  4. Mr Randazzo,I don't usually post here but I do keep a close eye on what is happening and always use the search function before posting. So I was very sad to see your response to various requests as to the status of the drivers for the Aerosoft 747 MCP. With all due respect was it really necessary to give such a terse statement in the other thread and then immediately lock it so that no further discussion could be carried out.Back in March 11th Lefteris was gracious enough to let us know that, "The driver is ready. Has been, for awhile now. It's waiting for the 747-400X Service Update to be released first." for those of us that are waiting to purchase these drivers. As stated before, the service pack has been out a while now and many of us are ready to place our orders.Speaking personally I have purchased just about every product PMDG have, starting with the Aerowinx PS-1 747 manuals, and I suppose I could consider myself an avid supporter of all your products. Maybe your comments were not intended to be read in the way I saw them, but I did get the distinct feeling that our requests were not welcome.Hopefully we will see an announcement about these drivers in the near future so until that time I will remain silent.yours,Dave
  5. Hi Matt,Yes it will.regards,Dave
  6. Hi, I stand corrected, I am now getting this message each time I attempt to start ASG.regards,Dave
  7. Hi,I was trying to narrow down the variables which may be causing my ASX start up problems when I was confronted with this error message. I assume you would be interested in seeing the message, however I have not been able to duplicate the sequence of events. Sorry.regards,Davehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/173582.jpg
  8. Ditto. I have ben unable to get ASX to run after 5 or 6 attempts this morning. I have switched over to ASV6.5 and it is working fine.regards,Dave
  9. Hi Tom,I've just done some testing using up to date Wx and I get a different screenshot than you. It is a couple of hours after your shot but it looks different, or does it? regards,Davehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/173127.jpg
  10. Sounds good to me. I was going to disqualify myself as a past member of your beta team anyway.Keep up the good work, I might even try and become member of your team again!regards,Dave (CYVR)
  11. Hi Jim,May 10 2007And hopefully I have captured the start of TS Andrea in the jpg.regards,Dave
  12. Hi Jim,Beat you to it! I had to do a hard reset/reboot and now the download/decrypt/save cycle is taking about 1 - 2 minutes. Go figure! Now all I have to do is find out how to post a screenshot! :-)regards,Dave (CYVR)
  13. Hi Jim,I thought I would take you up on this challenge and have come across an interesting situation.I have download the Wx and now the PC is going through the decrypting and saving routine. It has been nearly 15 minutes now since the "Saving" dialog popped up. Surely this is not normal? What is a typical time for this event? My task manager shows that Active Sky X is not responding as well.regards,Dave (CYVR)
  14. Amazing work guys, well done! I've just done a quick 2 PC/Simconnect flight and everything is working well. Can't wait to dig into all the new features.regards,Dave (CYVR)
  15. If you read the release notes of the latest nVidia drivers you are now required to set the AA in the nVidia control panel AND inside FS for it to work correctly.regards,Dave

    HEY GEOFA

"as my login is cached on the msg forum server and my home computer as me logged in"It also probably makes it much easier to track your ISP and IP, not too bright. You'll probably be seeing your ISP account cancelled very soon.regards,Dave
  17. Thanks for the prompt reply Bill. Much appreciated.regards,Dave
  18. Hi Bill,On the MAAM website it states that the upcoming FSX patch will update all 16 planes on the 9th Edition CD. Does this also mean that we will be able to use the patch on the R4D 8th edition CD which I purchased lat year?regards,Dave
  19. Hi JD,I've just repeated the flight and got the same discrepancy when reporting winds from the tower. I am just wrapping up the log file and will send it to you.regards,Dave
  20. I've just completed a 1 hour flight from Bristol (EGGD) to Glasgow (EGPF) with the new 4.3 update and FSX.One minor problem occurred during the flight when being handed over to Glasgow Tower. Clearance to land at RWY23 was given with winds reported as calm! I knew from ASV and my screen readout that this was incorrect so I immediately requested a wind check (4). The response then gave the correct wind parameters as 224 @ 29 Gusting to 49. Just a minor glitch but you may be interested in logging it.Thanks for the great update.regards,Dave (CYVR)
