June 20, 200718 yr Hi All, This is probably something I'm doing wrong or misunderstanding, but when I create an FSX flight plan and add additional waypoints to it, I do not see the additional waypoints in the flight plan in ActiveSkyX. Instead I just see the start and end points with a straight line joining them. If you go to the link below you will see a link (bottom right) to a flight plan that exhibits this kind of behaviour. http://www.astroccd.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/FSX.htmThanksRobP
June 20, 200718 yr Hi Rob,Thanks for the report. We are working on this for SP1.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

I'm on Windows XP SP2, Server & Client.Please look into it.Thanks.

June 22, 200718 yr Hi Dirk,Both good flightplans for me. I suggest a uninstall/reinstall cycle of ASX. You may have a corrupt database.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
June 22, 200718 yr Thanks, Jim. Did you try it from Client to the Host (FSX)? Where can I find the info how to uninstall properly?
June 23, 200718 yr Hi,Not sure what you mean by client to host. I had your plans on my desktop and imported them into ASX and processed them! I don't use ASX over a network as I have a dual monitor set up.To uninstall just use the Add/Remove Programs part of the Control Panel in Windows.Let me know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

The program doesn't want/can't read PLN files over netwrok. As I mentioned my ASX is installed on Client and FSX on the Host, of course. Will reinstall it and report. Anyone else is running ASX on Client PC and reading PLN on the main FSX PC ok?Thanks.
June 23, 200718 yr I've just reinstalled ASX on Client1 and even installed on another client (Client2). The import/reading of PLN files works OK there. It means there's something in my OS on Client1, that prevents ASX from reading PLNs on the Host. .NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 is installed, I think I'm in good control of my OS. There's nothing I can think of atm, perhaps some file association or another program gets in the way of reading. Any ideas? Thanks.PS: really don't want to reinstall the OS.
June 23, 200718 yr Hi,just installed one of your flightplans (ksea-cyvr)my ASX is installed on Client and FSX on the Host :all went well. June 25, 200718 yr Jim,Has it already been reported about importing the alternate airport location? When I import a plan that was orginially created in FSBuild2, the alternate box is empty and I can not manually enter the alternate ICAO eithier. Hopefully this is fixed in SP1 as well. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
June 25, 200718 yr Hi,Yep, it is on the list!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
