Well, I think I may only be partially misinformed. This is from what appears to be an excellent controlled test, from hardocp.com, but is looking at the 6800 Ultra, which I failed to note:"In Flight Sim 2004 the BFG GeForce 6800Ultra OC is much faster than the X800XT-PE. A quick look at the above graph spells out the BFGTech card as pulling easily ahead of ATI's flagship. Even the non-oc NVIDIA GeForce 6800Ultra is faster than the X800XT-PE overall in this game. The BFG GeForce 6800Ultra OC has a faster minimum, maximum and average frame rate."At 1600 x 32 x 4x x 16x: the 6800U STILL outperforms the ATI card: GF6800U: 29.1 X800XT: 28.5Granted, the GT isn't the U. Yes here are the results in FS2004 at 1600x1200, 4xAA, 16xAF:Average FPS:X800XT-PE: 28.56800 Ultra OC: 30.56800 GT OC: 28.8It appears even the GT outperforms the XT-PE, no? This again, is from hardocp.com. Of course you should get something for your 220M transistors eh?Not too sure I like the less than perfect banding/feathering in the water reflections. If you look at the apples to apples section on both reviews at hardocp.com you will find FS9 perf on all those cards. Yes, I noticed perf in the other games. No, I didn't know about the shader 3 transistor connection. Anyway, 6800 GT OC looks great so I think I will prob go buy one.Noel
