August 23, 200619 yr Hey everyone, I have a CH Products usb yoke and Rudders and I let windows manage the drivers. I wanted to try and install the CH software and load a map, the launch FS9. The reason for this is, I have the Tupolev154 installed and have a performance issue with panning. The FPS is great, but the panning with the hat switch is slower than a snail with stutters. Being that that plane does not use the interface within FS9 and uses its own module, I was told that this may correct the problem. (At least those who use the software haven't any.) In the past, when I have used th CH software with a map loaded, I had some problems with all my other aircraft and my throttles when set at the lowest setting. The sim would read them as being forward a bit even with the thottles all the way back, and the planes would roll. I don't really want to mess with what's not broken for one aircraft, but the Tupolev is just to nice not to try it. Has anyone else experienced this using the CH control manager software? If so, is there a way to control the throttle in the CH interface so FS9 reads it correctly? I am aware if I get FSUIPC registered version, that can accomplish this, but I would like to try this method first. Thanks for your help.
August 24, 200619 yr Jeff,Sorry, I can't speak specifically to your issue as I don't use the CH MGR for mapping, only calibration. If you haven't done so already, why don't you try posting in their forums http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/ and I am sure Bob Church or someone else over there can help.Regards, Kendall Regards, Kendall 7800X3D/G.B. August 26, 200619 yr Hi, the CH software is best for calibration purposes as well as enabling the second duplicate-set of available buttons by using one of the buttons as a "shift" button. Your panning problem will be most affected by chaging the "PAN_RATE" under the "CONTROLS" section of the fs9.cfg file. The standard is to change:PAN_RATE=400toPAN_RATE=900Hope this helps...
