What AA problem? The one where you constantly have to adjust it to get AA to work??? How far back do you have to go to get a set that dont have that problem??

How far back do you have to go to get>a set that dont have that problem??I had the same issue with 7.4, but I'm using 7.3 with no problems! Just set Catalyst AI to either Off or Standard. Advanced causes problems also with AA in 7.3

Thanks

Use 7.1 to have absolutely no problems. 7.1s here...

"Use 7.1 to have absolutely no problems."Same here.MikeASRock 939Dual-SATA2, AMD Athlon 64X2 4800+ (2400MHz)(Toledo), 2GB Crucial PC3200 DDR400 Ram 3-3-3-8 (2T)(Dual Channel), (PCI-E)Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB (Catalyst 7.1 WHQL), SB Audigy2 ZS Platinum (Drivers version 5.12.0001.1196 WHQL), Windows XP Home Edition (SP2), DirectX 9.0c (with 04/2007 update)

>Use 7.1 to have absolutely no problems. 7.1s here...Actually 7.1 and 7.2 did not work well at all with the X1950XT and XTX cards. They caused CTD's and even reboots while running a number of 3D apps! FS9 and FSX being 2 of them. This was also verified by ATI. It was later found that the problem was the ATI Hot Poller function, If you disabled that than the problems went away. By then though the 7.3 was just being released, which fixed the X1950 XT(X) problem. So I used that with no issues, and it was a little more efficient, since of the redesign of the CCC. 7.4 though as mentioned introduced new AA problems, so I went back to 7.3.

Thanks

I see AA problems with Catalyst 7.5 in FS9 (did not text FX, no need to!)So, I am going back to Version 7.3 today.I called their tech support about the problems over a month or so ago about problems with their (ver 7.4). Tech support said for me to use ATI's trouble reporting system to get the info to ATI. So I sent them the trouble report .. never got a reply. I will not bother telling them again.>>Use 7.1 to have absolutely no problems. 7.1s here...>>Actually 7.1 and 7.2 did not work well at all with the X1950XT>and XTX cards.
