April 23, 200620 yr I was going thru the tutorial then something interesting happened.Everything was going fine step by step. We pushed back, started both engines and we had reset our parking brakes. Did the after start check list. Then we were ready to go. So FO checked oil, then checked to make sure we were clear on the right and I started taxiing the aircraft.Next thing I know I'm getting yelled at saying something like "you need to disconnect from the gate" or something like that and then to top it of the entire panel went dead, poof!Who is this guy yelling at me and how can I turn him off? :Dhttp://www.cpavirtual.org/images/banners/MyNewCrapBanner.jpgEric Thornton - CX001 Eric Thornton
April 23, 200620 yr Were you using the built in LDS ground commands? Sounds like what you are told if you pushback before disconnecting the ground power. Also did you have the APU running ?Mark. Mark CYYZ
April 23, 200620 yr Author Yeah I had the APU running so I never connected or needed ground power. And I've been avoiding LDS ground commands as I didn't want them interfering with FS2crew, but it's interfering anyway!:)Do I have to manualy disconnect from the LDS ground commands before pushback even even though I never asked them to connect anything?http://www.cpavirtual.org/images/banners/MyNewCrapBanner.jpgEric Thornton - CX001 Eric Thornton
April 23, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hello Eric,That's a new one for me :-)See if you can reproduce it. All I can think of is that you accidently had external power connected and didn't know it.All the best,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
April 23, 200620 yr Author Yeah I dunno,I think it was my bad. I forgot to link engine generators after engine start and LDS panel got mad at me. :(I'm doing a regular non-tutorial flight and I didn't encounter this problem. Anyway great product, I'm having a blast as always! :Dhttp://www.cpavirtual.org/images/banners/MyNewCrapBanner.jpgEric Thornton - CX001 Eric Thornton
