November 18, 200619 yr I would say, yes; but in most cases it is not significant, compared to say detailed scenery at airports or in cities. Bert
November 18, 200619 yr Honestly I don't see a huge impact in FS9. In FS2002 I did, but I noticed FS9 improved performance in a couple of areas--spot view, when looking at aircraft, and Terrain Mesh. I fly with highly detailed mesh in both Arizona and Europe, and if my autogen's off I regularly get in the 20's--with a P3/800 :) Here's a quick snapshot with Holger's mesh for the Alps in the background:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/161397.jpg
