Disabling FS9 Auto Refueling

Featured Replies

Is there any way to disable the auto refueling when you come close to a fueling station? I have loaded fuel manually on many occasions to the numbers, and when taxiing just a little to close to the fuel pumps, I'm instantly overweight with full tanks. FS has so many options to disable or enable different features, I thought there might be an option I overlooked. Thanks. Tom

I can't say I have ever seen a way to disable this feature. Guess the best way is to avoid taxiing to close to the pumps. I wish I could drive by the pump down the street and have a magic refuel!Wish there was a better answer.Cheers,Scott

Is that what those pumps do? Wow. Neat.

As far as I know the only way is with the paid version of FSUIPC.

One method would be to keep moving when near the pumps. The refueling is only supposed to occur when your aircraft comes to a full stop.

Since it is quite easy to "add" a fuel trigger to fuel areas, I wonder what happens if you open the airport in question with Afcad and "uncheck" the two fuel types boxes on the properties screen. Then save the revised default afcad of course.I have not tried it but it might be worth a shot.If anyone does try it, please post the results.
