Featured Replies

Hi all,Just a heads up for the Douglas DC2 which has entered beta testing for a few weeks now.The plane is modeled to the plane as flying with the Aviodrome - Dutch National Aviation Theme Park and Museum.Full VC, full custom gauge set and avionics, and numerous custom animations. Here are a few pics to whet your appetite:http://www.dcascreenshots.net/dcaforum/files/dc2_1_833.jpghttp://www.dcascreenshots.net/dcaforum/files/dc2_2_147.jpghttp://www.avsim.com/hangar/flight/dc2uive...c2preview18.jpghttp://www.dcascreenshots.net/dcaforum/files/dc2_4_191.jpghttp://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q108/Tim-HH/dc2twa5.jpghttp://www.scharnhop-hh.de/DC2/dc2twa.jpghttp://www.scharnhop-hh.de/DC2/dc2swiss2.jpghttp://www.scharnhop-hh.de/DC2/dc2cls3.jpgBye, Rob,And remember: no DC3 without the DC2Visit http://www.avsim.com/hangar/flight/dc2uiver/

Looks very yummy. :9

Oooooh, it's exciting!Andy.

Yes very exciting !I hope that one of the repaints will be the DC-2 that was used in Frank Capra's classic 1937 movie "Lost Horizon" starring Ronald Coleman. Since the movie was in black & white I don't know what color the Chinese characters or the spinners would be colored.

Looks VERY Nice. Looking forward to giving it a spin!

Hi Adrian,Wow, you did some research. I looked up the old forum post on calclassic, maybe you should post your findings there too. (copy/paste the complete link)http://www.calclassic.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaB...69371643;start= And I'd love to get a better picture of that livery for a repaint.Bye, Rob,And remember: no DC3 without the DC2

Thanx Rob, I have allready posted re Lost Horizon on Cal Classics, I just did not include a link to that stuff here, as the links to Cal Classics do not work fully here. As for getting a better picture, if you can get hold of a DVD of the film, you could screen capture with FRAPS or similar. Bye the way here a picture of a real life CNAC DC-2http://www.cnac.org/aircraft04.htmhttp://www.cnac.org/Best and Warm RegardsAdrian Wainer

Hi Rob!Beautiful! I've been waiting for this version for a long time, but it sure seems worth it. En nu maar weer flink aan het werk Rob, want hoe eerder 'ie af is, hoe beter (brede grijns)!Jaap.

nice! I hope this will include 1 or 2 C47 style skins :)

In a word WOW....I'll reserve her one of the good places in the hangar.Looks absolutely stunning.
