June 21, 200718 yr >Bob,>> Never have they stated it entered beta. I have a nice screenie of a banner that says clearly "Now in beta!">Never did they>say it was going to be a Q1 2007 release And again, I have archived screenshots from their website that does indeed say that it is coming in Q1 of 2007. That wasn't up very long, but it was there. These antics occurred right on top of the release of FeelThere's A320.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
June 21, 200718 yr Can you send me one of these screenshots of the beta? I'll send you my email address in a PM.
June 30, 200718 yr Author I love this ATR 72 500. Yes it can be easy to fly, yes, there is a heap of buttons to push and switches to set and yes, to everything positive that has been said about it. At the risk of sounding a little unctious and gushy, I surmise that the ATR is probably the closest thing I own to the real aircraft. On my very limited income it is a pleasure to have purchased an FS9 add on that represents (imho) excellent value. Next week, the Maddog. I hope it's as rewarding an experience as the ATR.Jon
July 10, 200718 yr Author A little update and a question. I purchased the ATR 72-500 (superb, and will be grabbing FS2Crew for it very soon). Another purchase is the Aeroworx B200 King Air. For detail and overall realism I reckon this is about as good as it can ever get. I'm still not even half-way up the very steep learning curve but perserverence is the key. Now, this coming week I'm going to be adding a 707 and a 727 to the fleet. I want the Dreamfleet 727 but a certain website is having a sale for 24hrs on the 12/07/07, offering the Legendary 707 for 9.99 euros. Does anyone know how this offering stacks up against other 707 products?Ultimately, I'll also get the Maddog but right now I want some of the older iron.Jon
July 10, 200718 yr Not sure which product you're talking about, but if it's the Captain Sim, I'm pretty sure I heard it wasn't very good and needed some fixing. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
