Best Garmin Guages

Featured Replies

I would appreciate recommendations on which aircraft...free or pay...include the best (most completely functional)Garmin GPS guages.(430/530/1000) ...or stand alone guage add-on products.THANKS!

Hi,For the best 430/530 GNS go to Reality-XP:http://www.reality-xp.com/products/GNS/index.htmThey are based on the real Garmin trainers and have 99% of the functionality of the real ones.Be advised that they won't run under Vista and are only suitable for FS2004.

THANKS! Any recommendations on the G1000 would be greatly appreciated.Regards,Jim

You might like to check out Mindstar:http://www.mindstarprods.com/aviation/index.htmlI don't own it though, so I cannot comment, other than to say I understand it will only function correctly with the default Cessna 172. It is still being developed, so it is not yet 100% complete.

It works with any airplane you want to put it in.Level of completion mentioned in this thread does not tell the whole story. The real G1000 is always changing, and exists in many different versions. Everything you need for flight is present in the Mindstar G1000, including many features not available in any other simulation.
