Hm. I was under the impression that the SSWA310 had lots of problems? People complaining about the FDE, being unflyable... Anybody comments on that? This is basically the reason that I didn't ever buy it, because I'd be very interested in a detailed A310 simulation.

This simulation has a few quirks. Beechavr? over at simhq did a review and if you contact him or read the review all seemed ok. I bought v1.4 from fspilotshop, and i think his review was on v1.3.If you use the load editor and it fuels the aircraft, your engines may die even if your tanks aren't empty.Even if you set it to start with engines running, it doesn't always do so.The autopilot doesn't seem to execute the mode that you tell it every time.It can be flown using the automation but, the higher the level of automation, the more likely you'll run into niggles.This beast will frustrate you based on my experience with v1.4The thing is there was a detailed tutorial written for it around v1.4-->v1.5?, and this was supposed to teach the simmer how to use the a-310, but i haven't been able to find anyone willing to share it. Yes. DON'T buy this plane. This has got to be one of the top 2 planes that remains "broken". Save your money. 5 patches and it was still busted. Trust me

lvl change is the only mode that seems to work consistently. the other modes will drive you nuts.it's better to set it up with full tanks or cheat with the center and outer tanks, otherwise you'll run out of gas, even if you get the autopilot to function as advertised.

Ah, okay... That's clear enough :( I'll save my money then.

I had it for a few days now and done some test flights using only the FMGS with profile and NAV. I have only done short flights though.But I don't think it's that bad. It works pretty good here actually. Maybe i'm just lucky.. The only thing that bugs me is that the plane is really overpowered, so it's impossible to climb out at V2+10 or V2+20. I just reduce the thrust.. And on approach it's a bit hard to control, and u cannot do autolands with it.But it's far from the worst addon I have had. But when Airsimmer A320 arrives, I will retire the A310
