March 29, 200818 yr On both FS9.1 and Win XP Sp2?I have changed my boot.ini to: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /3GB /userva=2560and patched the fs9.exe no cd with the proper tool. How to make sure this is taken into account my the system? The pb that I have is that I use Comodo Firewall and I have no boot.ini in my c: Instead I have a file called boot.ini.comodofirewall, which I modified as well, in case. When I access via msconfig or control panel system advanced start up and recovery, boot.ini is exactly like mentionned above.Thank you.Ghiom

May 28, 200818 yr I have heard about the 3gb patch but have no idea what its all about, could someone enlighten me please?Paul
May 31, 200818 yr I'm trying 3Gb patch and patched fs9.exe to fix OOM problem. Now The OOM error is fixed, but every few minutes I loose the textures of almost every aircraft (AI and user ones), then the screen freezes and comes to a 'slideshow' making the plane unflyable. I hit the pause key and wait several minutes until all the textures are loaded, then I can fly normally for few minutes again. This is so annoying that I dissabled 3Gb patch. Now I can only make short flights to avoid OOM error, but the frames and texture loading are OK.My system:Intel Core 2 2.66 GHzNVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX22 monitors (21'' and 19'')2 HD 500Gb each in RAID 0XP Home edition service pack 2fs9 + GE Pro + ASv6 + UT Europe + FsNavigator + FsPassengersI tried some 'userva' values in boot.ini but no change in results.Guille
